+Don Machado Exactly, Leslie Nielsen was a dramatic actor for 30+ years before that movie came out, that movie did a complete 180 to his career. How that's not only not mentioned but not #1 if beyond me.

I know this comment is a couple of years old, but Liam Neeson was in around *ten* comedy films *before* he voiced a character in _The Lego Movie_ and always had a very wide and varied career so he doesn't really qualify for the list.

YogDodoth I actually have seen the movie before I was just speaking for the people that might not have seen it. Not everyone has seen every popular movie that has ever come out so that does't justify spoiling the movie. If the video was about the most shocking endings or something then I could understand the spoilers but its just about performances so spoiling isn't necessary at all.

George C. Scott didn't know he was in a comedy. He wanted to play it straight-faced, so Kubrick convinced him to play at least one take for each scene over-the-top as a contrast. Kubrick then used only the over-the-top takes.

Honourable mention should have been Ryan Gosling in Crazy Stupid Love - he was told by a doctor to do a comedy because his dramatic roles were causing him too much stress and he's hilarious in it!

Leslie Nielsen was a well respected dramatic, theater and television actor for about 30 years before he starred in Airplane!, which completely changed the trajectory of his career. How that's A) Not #1, but B) Not even mentioned, is absolutely absurd. Big fail WatchMojo.

The exterior of the blue house in _Burn After Reading_ was actually shot on a really old (and expensive) block in Brooklyn that has early 19th century houses still in existence and in excellent shape. I lived near it (in the poorer part of the area), and when the Coens were shooting, the whole neighborhood pretended they had to go down that block for "reasons" because Brad and Angie were there. HA!

Tropic Thunder is hilarious! I own the DVD and I've watched it at least 5 or 6 times over the years. Robert Downey Jr., Jack Black etc. they are all great!
