I'm a huge fan of Walter W. and if someone were to ask me back in season 1 or 2 of GoT, what TV series I consider the best, I'd say Breaking Bad is, and GoT as close second. The acting in Breaking Bad, the whole plot, drama and the struggles and conflict of the characters were undoubtedly one of the best I've ever seen in a TV series. Then episode 9, season 3 of Game of Thrones came along, and it blows my opinion out of the water, completely; I literally spilled my cup of coffee when I watched it. It was hands down, without a single doubt, the most shocking scene I have ever watched in any media, be it TV, movies, or games, by far. And ever since, up til today, whenever someone asks me that same question, I'd say Game of Thrones beats everything by a mile.

No episode of Breaking Bad was bland or boring not even the filler episodes which had great engaging stories. It might have had a slow pace at some points, but no episode of Breaking Bad was bland. Everything in that show was unpredictable you didn't know what was going to happen next, who was going to die, or if Walter White would get caught and go to prison, or get shot. I was fully engaged with Breaking Bad after the first episode. It took me a while to get engaged with Game of Thrones probably was after Sean Bean died. So if we're looking at half way threw both seasons. That means Breaking Bad would be on the start of Season 3 which is the most action filled and most epic season in Breaking Bad. Season 3 was way more eventful and more engaging than any season of GoT but that's just my opinion. Please don't act like your opinion is fact because that's what you're making it out to be. Breaking Bad is one of the greatest shows ever created if not the greatest. GoT well IMO it comes third behind the Sopranos.

I think breaking bad will remain the better show. It only had 5 seasons and they all kept the audience captivated. I feel like the more seasons GOT makes, the more filler-type episodes they will have, which might make a lot of people lose interest.

Michael Plangger I'll say this: from late January (usually when the first trailer drops) to about mid July, Game of Thrones is champ. From late July to mid January Breaking Bad is champ. This is what happens every year.

Dexter really lost its quality in the 2010s. It belonged in the 2000s list. Other than season 7, the rest of those seasons were horrible. Sherlock and Breaking Bad are great though.

Katie Moseley It deserves to be on the list because of it's international impact (although it's not popular in the US). In truth the shows in this list should be about impact than popularity.

The biggest problem is that AMC care more about success than they do about quality. They cut corners at every possible point to save money. Check out "Sam Witwer on Frank Darabont & the The Walking Dead". Even though you have watched the show, you might want to check out the YMS review of the walking dead, he paints a bigger picture of how AMC rammed the shows quality to the ground to cut costs.

Kenny Spillman I don't know about the books, but GoT has already started going downhill, Khaleesi locking up the dragons and taking a long nap from season 3 (nobody is missing her really at this point). After waking up a thousands years later, White Walkers are eating popcorn and enjoying the Wall's view from far far away. Important battle scenes are reduced down to 5 minutes where nude scenes go on for 20 minutes. So IMHO GoT is not getting better day by day.

But yes you are right, the literal meaning of Anarchy means no leader which is the whole plot (or reason) of the show, the real leader of the MC (Jax father) was absent (killed) and the entire show was based on bad leadership in the group, there was lots of drama and "side quest" but there were many quotes and moment that were referring to pure anarchy. For me SOA was one of the best shows i watched it almost has everything, good acting, great writing and a FUCKING AMAZING playlist along with some GREAT memorable super sad and "FUCK YEAH!" moments. the only downside was the direction and "image quality", that's it

I just hate that almost all of it feels like filler, and I'm hardly interested in the majority of the cast. I got bored and quit after 2.05. I'll probably come back sometime down the road, but I'm in no hurry. It's not like unabashed internet spoilers haven't already ruined every single plot detail for me.
