honestly, with how crazy it sounds, mr toad makes so much sense…in terms of most of the ride’s scenes. you don’t even have to change any of the music or scene dialogues, just decorate it to winter with some christmas elements thrown about (like decorations on the buildings, etc). it especially helps that there is actually a christmas scene in the mr toad film, and the whole wind in the willows vibe just fits the coziness that mr toads wild ride could have during winter time

Big Thunder Holiday! Rainbow Rridge could be Santa's Village, replace the front of the train with a Reindeer, snow cap the mountains and you have the Wildest Ride of the Holidays!

I think Buzz Lightyear Ranger Spin in Magic Kingdom could very easily do a Christmas overlay. Since most of the scenes include large, flat cut-outs - they could add Christmas themed large, flat cut-outs.

I would love to see a overlay for Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Railway as The Christmas Carol with Scrooge McDuck and Mickey. Just like how Jack takes over the Mansion. That would be awesome!

In the 80's Disneyland did a salute to the 50s. The submarine got an overlay where a 50s ghost narrates the ride by songs. Very fun

I’m not usually a fan of adding unnecessary IP but when thinking about your space mountain idea I thought of adding the characters from prep and landing. The short has a very modern/futuristic approach to santa’s methods. Lanny and Wayne could talk you through your mission. I loved those shorts so it could be a cute idea but i doubt it would be popular enough for disney to go for.

People-mover should make more diorama areas along the route...and holiday them when applicable!!

my favorite holiday overlay is disneyland’s storybook land canal boats!! they add little christmas trees and wreaths to all the houses. it’s so magical !!

I like the Haunted Mansion overlay, but I desperately wish it were possible to ride the regular ride until the day after Halloween.

I really wish they could bring the Nightmare Before Christmas overlay to Florida. There’s been a few times I’ve gone to Magic Kingdom in the fall and winter, and as someone who would have Nightmare in their top 10 favorite Disney films, I would love the chance to experience it 👍

Yes! on Mr. Toads! I would love if they made an animated short about Mr. toads mania. He goes wild over Christmas! He starts collecting everything Christmas but he ultimately wants the shiny star in the sky. The star being the blue fairy from Pinocchio. It would tie in every Disney character and every character's Christmas. In the end Mr. toad gets a wish and for the first time it's not a selfish one. He wishes everyone happy holidays. the short would inspire the decorations for the ride. Except in the ride it's the middle ground when he is obsessed with Christmas.

I hoping for a mention of Space Mountain Ghost Galaxy. It was the main reason I got my annual pass, but then the late night Halloween event got moved to California Adventure and Ghost Galaxy has never come back.

Radiator Spring Racers should have some holiday decor since... the outside of Radiator Springs has it, and it's pretty weird to ha e 2 versions of the buildings that don't match. Philharmagic??? And last but not least, put the star back on top of the Matterhorn

life day at galaxies edge has mostly been a fan run event... there have been some attempts to capitalize on it, but I think they've mainly honored George's wishes that it be burned with fire and forgotten.

I was looking at the E Ticket on your wall. The booklet had maybe 5 E tickets, so painful decisions were in order. I don't regret riding the pack mules one time, though, just for the experience. I did get free ticket books the 2 years I sang (HS choir) at Disneyland's holiday show. Even cooler was seeing our celebrity narrator up close at rehearsal, Mister CARY GRANT. No rehearsal or any decent view at all of the next year's celeb narrator, Mister JIMMY STEWART. dangit! (1974-75)

i love the idea of a autopia holiday! however i could see a problem if there was a huge christmas tree/spectacle of a decoration that made people wanna stop & look at it, and that would cause a traffic jam. i see no other reason why an overlay wouldn't be cool

If there was an holiday overlay for both the Tower of Terror in Hollywood Studios and at Disneyland Paris, maybe Disney should take inspiration or make reference of the Twilight Zone's Christmas episode, "The Night of the Meek" (1959) or create an original story like what happens inside the Hotel during Christmas; it could be scary. For the Enchanted Tale of Beauty and the Beast in Tokyo Disneyland, the overlay should follow the Beauty and the Beast: The Enchanted Christmas movie (1997). It's been said that this majority of the film is set within the original 1991 movie (as a bridge between the first and second half of the story) because when Enchanted Christmas begins and ends, a huge Christmas party is being held at the castle (which probably takes place X amount of time after the 1991 film) where Mrs. Potts tells a story to Chip about why the Beast didn't like Christmas initially and how Belle convinced him - in a series of flashbacks. We meet the villain Forte, who was the organist of the castle. So Disney should do something like this.

Dont know if you will read this Sir Offhand but what about tower of terror having a new years eve overlay. They marathon twilight zone every year. For like decades now. Picture an abandoned new years eve party in the queue. I think it could work and fit the holiday overlay concept.
