@@namaco2201 Look for the isolated track, a few months ago, i thought i could hear the bass, but in the rest of the song, it has such a timber which is not perceptible on the mix, i play bass too, that´s why i can say that the recorder has more presence than the bass on Metallica songs lol

Fun fact: I was playing in a Metal band and complained that I can't hear myself while they said, the bass is to loud as soon it was audible. Once I asked them to pay attention to the bass and after the song I asked them "Did you like the bass line?" "Yeah, it was good!" I was just playing senseless random notes. :-D

Hey Davie. Though the Queen songs you featured definitely have easy bass parts, John Deacon wrote some very elaborate and creative bass lines. Would be cool if you could work some into a video in homage. Beyond riffs runs, and fills, there are some great compositions worth checking out!

Saying they’re “Easy” misses the point I think. They are brilliant parts and they’re played with tremendous feel by John Deacon. I get it that this video is being a bit silly but some people miss the point in thinking ‘simple’ bass parts equals ‘easy.’ It doesn’t. Simple is actually genius (in a hit song) and being busy or fast just means it’s a track meet, and doesn’t guarantee you’ll have great timing, feel, or that you’ll write anything good or of lasting impact.

For a more modern metal band with just beautiful bass, check out Born Of Osiris. Even though they use 8 string guitars, the bass has a presence and sometimes plays lead guitar parts with the guitar which sound just awesome together.

Incorrect way is starting on the 6th feet of the A string, which makes it up an octave. To play it the real way, you have to tune your e and a strings down a half step

The second one didn't shock me. It just satisfied me because Billie Jean is funky.. Now realizing that the list is going 10-1. Number 2 shocked me so much I got therapy for 5 years then came back to watch number 1 that shocked me even more and I needed to go to the hospital for 3 additional years.
