You can also put the battery percent inside the battery icon and remove the carrier name from the notification bar to get more space up top

Also if you double tap with two knuckles you can record video live. So if you wanted to talk and show what your doing on your phone for example. This then saves on your phone for you to send to someone. Great for step by step guides or reviews.

Great review of the tips, how do I disable the raise to wake setting on the phone? Also the vibrating function while typing will drain the battery a lot quicker. Need to turn that off as well.

Thanks for the tips! I already used this phone for a week and also found out that the phone can log in to either public mode or private mode when using different fingerprint or unlock pattern. It's pretty useful when you lend your phone to someone and you don't want them to see your photos, messages, etc.

Which smart watch could we use with huawei p20 pro? I got Apple Watch and iPhone, and Siri is very helpful to turn on music without touching phone, texting sms or doing calculations by voice, did android watch have a Siri like program that we can command by voice? Thank you 🤗

this is so helpful! thank you! after over a decade of iphone i've made the jump to android. I have a p20 in the post right now and absolutely no clue how to use the thing. I anticipate the first three weeks will feel like i've made a massive mistake i'll be stuck with for the next 24 months until I get used to it, but with your video there may be a little bit less swearing during those 3 weeks!

gingerandpippin the phone isn't that hard to get used to. Nowadays, most phones are similar enough. I've only had my p20 pro for a few days, and I am already perfectly fine with it

Great review! I've changed the speed of the animation settings as you've suggested. Once done, is there a way of taking myself back out of develepor mode or is there no harm in staying in that mode? I just want to know I still have full control of my phones settings.

I just noticed that in this guide video, the P20 Pro shown has different interface. It was recommended in my to-watch list while looking for ways to optimized my P20 Pro and following along, some settings don't show, is that because of the thing with Huawei and US controversy?

I think a good feature of this phone is one I hade on my xperia, actually the emu feels pretty similar to the xperia luncher. The feature I am talking about is that u can add more than one user, it is pretty nice as it is like if u had 2 different phones. What I am not sure about is how much memory(ram) will an additional user need, so if anybody knows I'd really appreciate it. So far this is the best phone I have ever used and seen.

hey do you know how to make the notification sound independent of the phone calls sound? It seems there is 2 settings for the calls but one of them doesnt work and i can't lower just the notification sound level because it also control the phone volume at the same time...

I made everything smaller but the icons are still big. I don't want to have to install a launcher to change the grid size of the icons. Is there any way to make the icons smaller? Just to clarify, 5x6, which is the max grid size on the phone, is still not enough.

Its a good phone but when i use instagram/snapchat it doesnt fit the sxreen because the buttons on thw bottom of thw screen dissapear and the face id and selfie camera cover up some things. But its good 9/10 would recommend

You should keep the 10mp in the camera for the light fusion feature. And in my opinion FHD video on the P20 pro is way better because of the Image stabilization.

Hi, how to turn off the screen easily without pressing the power button? Is the screenshot capable of screenshot roll to take a long screenshot in one shot? Is there a built in call recorder here like what asus have? Thannks.
