I wouldn't call Phil a villain, he does have anger problems but he's a loyal friend who never grasses on anyone. Trevor Morgan, Janine Butcher and Nick Cotton are the biggest EastEnders villains

I'm disappointed that Maya Sharma from Coronation Street isn't on the list. The lengths she went to exact her revenge on Dev and Sunita like having Sunita sent to jail for bigomy and nearly succeed in having them killed in the flat above the corner shop were not only evil but downright terrifying.

These are all great contenders. As a Hollyoaks fan when I was younger, I’d have liked to have seen the murderous Silas Blisset or almost anti-hero-like Brendan Brady on this list. That era was the best of the show for me

YESS THE CONTENT I NEEDED TODAY! 😄 please keep doing more soap videos I really enjoy watching them still feel like Lachlan White or Emma Barton should have been on the list or even Robert Sugden because there was a time where he a villain but this is just my opinion and as I’m an Emmerdale fan I’m going to suggest Emmerdale related stuff 😂

Mohammed Hussain no... Richard Hillman had the country hooked on coronation street back in the day. I remember when the episodes that hillman reveals to gail that he is a killer, and the episode where he tries to kill the platts was front page of every real life newspaper and on news at 10. I believe it’s the most watched episode of coronation street /soaps of all time. Everyone, and I mean EVERYONE was talking about him in 2003.

Cain Dingle is one of those villain-turned-hero guys in Soaps, whose genuinely a great character. He's a scrawny little guy, but he can definitely fight. In a fight between him and Phil Mitchell, my monies on Cain. He's faster, nastier and has a better technique. Phil can throw a punch, but Cain can take one.

Glad you’ve tapped to the rich mine that is British soaps, this vid makes me realise how good we have it and makes me feel strangely patriotic. How about a poll of most hated soap characters Who aren’t necessarily villains? I’d vote Debbie Dingle, it doesn’t matter how matter how much shit she gets covered in, she always comes out snelling of roses coz daddy gets her out off with it. I really hoped the Ross thing would bring the bitch but no, not Princess Debbie!

Unless someone has already correcting you, Richard was trying to kill Emily, not Audrey, for her inheritance. Then he killed Maxine because she caught him in the act. Emily survived. Don't think he had much to do with Audrey. Or am I wrong? Audrey is Gail's mum, no?

I can't quite remember as it was a while ago and my memories bad but I think he tried to make Audrey believe she was suffering from dementia because she had her suspicions about him. I think he broke into her house while she was asleep and turned the gas on or something trying to bump her off. Something like this happened anyway, but as I say I can't remember exactly

Why Didn't you pick Cain Dingle he's a good soap Villian ? The storyline of Broken promises and theming of it is good. Emmerdale is attracting a lot of attention from viewers at the moment because of Nate and Moira's affair , Nate revealing to Cain he's his dad also Chas Dingle pregency and the storyline of Tracy , Kerry, Amy and Vanessa ( Factory fire Frank's death )
