Yeah! Blake pushed Bolt in 2011/2012 and Gatlin kept Bolt motivation til 2017! Imagine Bolt career without the existence of Blake and Gatlin… Powell quite never pushed Bolt whereas Gay did it a bit like in 2009 WCs

Crazy to think that the fastest times over the last 30+ years have barely changed with the exception of Bolt. Roided Ben Johnson ran 9.79 in 1988. Maurice Greene ran 9.79 in 1999. Roided Tim Montgomery ran 9.78 around 2002ish... Sheesh I mean... Asafa Powell Ran his WR 9.74 in 2007. It's highly likely all these guys are on the juice too. I get the frequency athletes are hitting the high 9.7's more, but seeing Bolt run and the trajectory of his World Records... I thought we were heading into a track realm of tall dudes hitting consistent high 9.6's... It shows you how truly special Bolt is.
