The amount of sugar in some of the flavored Mountain Dews is INSANE. I remember Pitch Black had so much they used to change the serving size on the 20 oz. bottle so it was 2-1/2 servings each instead of 1. That way the grams of sugar displayed on the nutrition label could be lower and if you weren't paying attention you would think it was the amount for the whole bottle like it normally is.

Banning gum and Mountain Dew if you were to take those off the market never to be sold again in the world (no I understand why countries would want to ban these products) Just saying if you were to get rid of these 2 for good you might have a small riot on your hands. Remember what happened to TWINKIES when they went off the market for a while?

Hostess went bankrupt and closed, that's why twinkies and everything else hostess made disappeared for a while. We were lucky that another company bought everything and it all came back shortly after that. But yeah, I remember people being pissed off about it. I was pissed about it, then I got diagnosed as a type 2 diabetic and haven't been able to eat any of it since. Sucks to be me.

I can understand people eating uncommon things when their starving. But eating something to the point of extinction is just immoral. But cutting the fins off sharks and throwing them back in the water to die just because someone wants a bowl of soup is the most unethical and inhumane acts of cruelty I’ve ever seen. What’s the matter with humanity? Killing rhinos for the horn just so someone can get a Boner. Humanity gets what we deserve if we go extinct. God forgive us.

Black pudding is most definitely not "wildy popular" here in the UK. It used to be more popular, 40 years ago, but it's rarely seen on an English breakfast plate nowadays. And it's never been "wildly popular". It's always devided people into two camps, people who like it & people who are totally dusgusted by it.

In some Spanish & Latin American restaurants in the US, you can order a Morcilla, which is similar to Black pudding. I copied the following online. "Morcilla is a Spanish blood sausage widely used as a tapa or as in ingredient in stews. Whilst the ingredients can vary depending on region, Spanish black pudding is typically stuffed with pig's blood, rice, onions, garlic and spices." You can go into any cuchifrito (Puerto Rican cuisine) in NYC and order a morcilla. I grew up eating them and still enjoy them today.

The thing with GMO's is not what they are perceived to "do" to the human body by our conditioning from our fictions of scientists in labs making Frankensteins. Farmers have been selectively breeding/harvesting foods we eat to literally "modify" them ever since agriculture and animal husbandry were discovered - the long, slow, hard way. You can see this even by looking at the fruits and vegetables in Renaissance paintings and how they look so different from the fruit of today. The true unknown, the thing few experts address or is discussed by media outlets, is how the instant changes we make to specific crops - combined with our large industrial scale monocropped farming - like say, making things resistant to insects or pests - will effect the ecosystem as a whole with unforeseen ripple effects.
