Judge Dredd ages canonically alongside his comic, he is an old man now. It has been one continuous story from its conception, just with a wide variety of authors and artists

Anti-hero: Brutal and heavy handed person seeking justice or vengeance. Anti-villain: Merciful, if cruel at times person convinced that the common good serves their selfish goals. Key is motivation, A-h's tend to jave higher body counts, but you sypathise more. A-v's tend to kill less for imahe, and are disliked more for being fake.

Dredd is not an "anti-hero", he is a fascist protagonist. He is not the same as The Punisher.

Good list, and I agree with most of the picks tbf. I thought it was interesting that decided to put Venom on this list. I personally wouldn't consider him an Anti hero, I just see him as a villain tbf, or at most an anti-villain. Someone who I reckon you could arguably put on this list in place for Venom would've been Catwoman. I think she would would've been a better pick. Other than that not much else, other than maybe Deadpool could've been a little higher.

It's because for most of his time in the comics, Venom has been an anti-hero. Him being a full blown villain was only during his early years in the comics. It's kinda why they needed to make Mac Gargan a Venom so that he could be a villain for a story arc or two, because Eddie Brock is an anti-hero.

On one hand, Dredd is one of the greatest anti-hero Dystopian cop figures ever concieved. On the other end of the spectrum for Judge Dredd: "Aye em Da Lawl! DrrroP! yer weapons!. Do Not! *Dog Barking Noises* Arrest! Dis Is your Final! Warning!

This is fairly unrelated but I find a lot of anti-hero are considered hotter/more attractive/more desirable. There's probably a lot of things psychologically we could dive into.
