A selection of interesting products from a range of brands, some that I've never heard of, and some familiar names too! Hope you enjoy - thanks for watching my vids - really appreciate it and all the comments and feecback! Have a great one, Rob.

Hi Rob... When this video went out last year I was on the lookout for a new build project. Having seen the Hybridizer Sann I really liked the look of it and took the plunge to buy a frame and motor set from their Indiegogo Kickstarter. Recently it arrived, and I now have it built up, I think it might be the first one in the UK. If you'd like to review it you are welcome to, its a size large which is their biggest option, I'm similar in size to yourself and I'm looking forward to experimenting with the various wheel and geometry options that this bike can be configured. into. Thanks for all the great reviews, let me know if your interested to try the Hybridizer. All the Best---Simon.

With 60Nm if you are speaking about ebike and max weight close to 15kg. But for that next gen battery technology is needed
@swecreations11 ай бұрын
@@p.k.7111 Next-gen battery technology is not what is needed, there are 500wh eMTB battery packs that weigh just over 2kg, and there was a MTB on display at eurobike that weighed 5.9 kg, someone just needs to build it.

Problem with all these fancy brands: they are hardly to find in regular stores in Germany (western region). Most brands you will find are Cube, Haibike, Giant, Scott and few others. Even if you got one of these top brands, hardly to find a shop for service.

first bike showcased, Hybridizer, only utilizes a quarter of the chainring, 8 tooth contact with the chain. Less than ideal, putting the strain on only 8 teeth, will undoubtably induce premature wear on the chainring, with the increased potential of skipping, if high loads or improper chain tension are present. No thanks.

Mullet is a stupid name if the larger (longer) is at the front. That's the opposite of a mullet; should be called a "Quiff bike".
@ForbinColossus11 ай бұрын
@8:18 I'm sorry Rob, but the welds on this frame are atrocious! Remember when Cannondale and Marin bikes ground down their welds so they were smooth? For a German made frame, I expect the same attention to detail. (Thank you for the stealth reporting on the SRAM motor!)
@steyer-crmg10 ай бұрын
There is no way that the linkage on the Nikolai is raw silver, it would be too heavy, too weak & too expensive. I’m no expert and i don’t own one but my guess is that it would be made of Aluminium, light but comparatively strong. Saying that it is raw silver is incorrect unless you believed that it was in-fact raw silver which it is not. Saying that it is “Raw Silver” if you actually know that it is Aluminium is misconceiving because you are using “Silver” as a colour not a material, if it is “Raw” it has not been coloured, it is in its natural state, machined but not painted or anodised, not coloured “Silver”.

Yes, you could spend thousands of dollars on an eBike kzfaq.infoUgkxUiL0GnyDjP32RJdd660sP8mZk4CRLTCJ and get something much higher quality. However, if you're looking for a basic model to try out eBiking this is a great choice. The assembly is easy as far as bikes go (took about an hour for me to do, I'm not an expert). All tools needed are included. I added the plastic mud guards you see and a more comfortable seat. The other reviews are correct that you're probably going to want a better seat (Giddy Up! Bike Seat is what I got - super comfortable). The battery easily handles a 2-4 hour ride if you add some of your own pedal power. I haven't even gotten it up to top speed yet - it is very fast. Components are not top of the line, but decent for the price and work just fine. It works great on dirt roads and singletrack and pavement although too heavy to do tricks or any serious technical mountain biking. I'm looking forward to using it a lot over the summer. Tons of fun!
