Hi ....I have written "could have been" to represent something that lead up to something but still it was an assumption regarding the illustration i got....am i wrong here ...will it affect my mark?

If you didn't mess up the tense and used less direct language to describe a process it is not necessarily a mistake. However it all depends on tbe context. Sometimes it's better to use more straightforward language to illustrate something that is clearly present in a picture.

I never thought I can study in canada because my bands was too low .but Cranium_tech via Instagram help to upgrade my bands and it work out perfect all thanks to him .

I am sure that you are native speaker. Darian, can I use "ameliorate" in the writing portion of IELTS!? Is it formal? , do you use this word?

I am not a native! 😉 Yes, "to ameliorate" is formal and used in very specific contexts. It's not always a direxr synonym of "to improve". I always suggest to check context usages of new words online.
