Brawn himself said Schumacher had an immense and crucial part to play in developing the car and team into what it was to dominate the sport with Hamilton at the wheel. Schumacher has and always will be the greatest F1 driver the sport has seen, alot don't like him, but anyone with common knowledge of F1 won't dispute that. Hamilton is a great, that can't be disputed. But he is not the greatest of all time. Love or hate him, Schumacher was the greatest. Oh to answer about others with poor equipment, Schumacher also has the most wins in a non championship winning car even though he has less wins than Hamilton, further proof Hamilton is only great with the greatest car against the other greats records.

Silverstone 2021: "Okay Valtteri, we invert the cars into turn 15 this lap" I think it's pretty clear who signed what in Mercedes and how LH won that race (and many others). He should kiss Valtteri's shoes.

Well lets be fair. Lewis is a great driver. But's he not a schumacher. let's be realistic. Fact is, Fernando alonso was and is the most recent legend of the sport we have seen. Schumacher, for me is the all time biggest legend we have seen. Now we have Lewis... well he's an excellent driver. He's not a legend of the sport. He's never done anything incredible apart from giving up when things go against him. And the fact is, every driver on the grid are all excellent drivers. just like lewis. and would all win just like lewis in the machine lewis has. And Lewis will probably beat Shumachers records. but he will never ever be a legend because he's a quieter and has never been able to drive fast unless the car is fast. THis is what makes legends. Fast drivers in a bad car. Lewis... vettle also... excellent drivers. But not legends becasue they are only fast IF the car is fast. Legends... they make bad cars fast cars. That's what legends are made of.

@@martin3288 Senna done the same as schumacher. So you have to balance your views young man. Balance is key. Critical and emotionless thinking. you can't let personal feelings get the better of you. The best of the best, the likes of senna shumacher etc etc. they stopped at nothing to succeed. I respect that. But what makes them legends was their ability to drive anything. Look at alonso also. His win stats are not nearly as impressive as some others. But his status as a legend who can drive anything and drive it fast is established beyond question. Kimi could possibly come into the legends conversation also. and he's only won the title once.

DingBatDave lewis is also a legend he may not be an fan favorite but he will break all the records, if you don’t see him as a legend i find that very weird and i am not saying schumi and senna are not legends but you can’t say lewis ain’t a legend
