One thing I _hated_ about _The Crown_ is that _none_ of the actresses chosen to portray Her Majesty was _as beautiful_ as the woman herself-strange, because, ordinarily, actresses are more beautiful than the real women they portray. Worse still, none of the actresses resembles any of the others. So why not do a top ten on real life persons who are better looking than the actors or actresses chosen to portray them? Or on worst young-to-old castings? Or worst parent and child castings? Or best?

Mckenna Grace as a young anyone always wins. Brie Larson, Margot Robbie, Candice Accola, Kiernan Shipka, Jennifer Morrison, Kate Siegel...she was a perfect younger version of all of them.

Bailee as young Snow really tripped me up a few times, sometimes I really wasn't sure if we were in a flashback or not. Love that they called her up one more time for season 5 fill out Snow's teen years.

All of the Winchesters were cast perfectly in younger and older versions, Mary, John, Dean, and Sam. Even old Dean was on point. All of the younger castings evidently paid attention to how the original actors played the characters.

Supergirl had two of my recent faves with Izabela Vidovic and Olivia Nikkanen playing young Kara and Alex respectively. Izabela resembled Melissa Benoist well enough, but the moment I saw Olivia, I thought, "Did they CLONE Chyler??!?"

Bailee Madison is phenomenal as young Snow White and she really does look like ginnifer Goodwin , the noses are so similar, and I love McKenna Grace as young Sabrina she looks exactly like Sabrina and I thought they were related when I first watched it a 2 years ago

How about Zoe Perry and Laurie Metcalf as the younger and older versions of Mary Cooper in "Young Sheldon" and "The Big Bang Theory"? Do they not count because they are real-life daughter and mother? I still think that was inspired casting.

If your going to include people who are related, you have to include Karen Gillan and Caitlin Blackwood (they are cousins), who portrayed Amy Pond in Doctor Who. It gets even better now that Caitlin Blackwood is 20 (the same age Gillan was when she started the role), you can put pictures of them side by side and they look like Identical twins.

Tbh the casting that impressed me even more than young Snow White was young Cora. Even though I knew the show could never pull off that kind of cgi, I had to check if they cast a different actress or deaged the original actress through movie magic. Another casting that was just perfect are teenage Alex and Kara Danvers. The young actresses look so similar and they copy the mannerisms and way of speaking etc of adult Alex and Kara perfectly.

The young actor cast on Glee to portray Kurt in a flashback (Adam Kolkin) looked exactly like Chris Colfer, so much that at first I wondered if it was real or CGI.

Manifest recast Cal to age the character up at the end of the third/beginning of the fourth season. He was played as a child by Jack Messina and as a teen/young adult by Ty Doran. The resemblance is uncanny.

I thought this was terrific casting, too! I was worried we'd have to get to know a new Cal when they aged him up and was surprised how easily I got used to him and felt like he was just the same Cal. He fit in so well with the rest of the cast, too.

I’ve always said that the casting of Lucy in 13 going on 30 was one of the best child-to-adult castings ever. And the casting of Matt was one of the worst 😆 too bad Noah centineo was too young because *that* actually would be the best older/younger version casting ever.

Anthony Ingruber as the younger version of Harrison Ford's character in Age of Adaline was perfect! He looked so similar and channeled the right mannerisms and everything. I was very disappointed when they didn't cast him in Solo--I think he would have been a way closer match.

It probably doesn't count because it's a complete recast of the whole show, not just a "younger version" of one character, but I had chills from Benedict Cumberbatch's performance as Khan Noonien Singh in Star Trek: Into Darkness. He's a completely different race and build as the original actor, Ricardo Montalban, yet I actually figured out who this "mysterious" character was simply from his performance. He absolutely nailed Khan's mannerisms, charm, intensity, rage, etc.

An oldie but the best one I ever saw was in "A Christmas Carol" starring George C. Scott. The actor they found to play Scott's character back at age ~18 blew my mind!!! Not as good, but I always loved Allison Lohman as a younger Jessica Lange in "Big Fish."

Nr. 5, is exactly why they should have casted Bailee Madison as Snow White in the live action remake of Snow White. She both look like and embodie Ginnifer, who was the perfect Snow White. Bailee Madison has an innocence and charm to her, that would have made her perfect in the role, and hair color aside, she looks like Snow White. Also, Sarah Paulson as a you Ellies Grey. She may not look exactly like Kate Burton, but she nailed her mannerism

I've always been completely impressed with the older actresses they found to play all the women in A League of Their Own (movie). They were in the movie only briefly, but I remember thinking back then that the makeup department completely outdid themselves before finding out that they were completely different women.

I loved Isis Carmen Jones playing the young version of Whoopi Golberg's Guinan in Star Trek Next Gen: Rascals. She also was the young version of Whoopi Goldberg's Deloris in Sister Act.

Walker Scobell vs Ryan Reynolds in The Adam Project. Toughest thing about playing Ryan Reynolds is, he only has one character and that character is himself. And everyone knows that character. So to play Ryan Reynolds is to be an impressionist. Walker Scobell nailed it.

the actress who plays the younger sabrina has different shaped eyes than the older one. the younger one has eyes which are curved at the upper area and straight at the bottom, like a sideways capital D. i remember her from young sheldon, and can’t unsee that now. but that just just nitpicking.

Most mentioned TV Shows and Films do definitely look worth checking and I am glad that I found this vid. However, a dark reboot of *The Cat's* Best Girl (AKA "Sabrina the Teenage Witch")??? *NO WAY!!!!* ALL reboots should be summarily outlawed, but such an idea I refuse even to contemplate LOL

Amazing video Rebecca from ms mojo of young to old between actors in there shows/movies, fantastic job. Sad that Netflix canceled the chilling adventures of Sabrina after four awesome season,one of Netflix best show ever bit better then strange things also sucks it leaves on a cliffhanger too.
