Finally went ahead and put CFW on my 3ds xl. So frigging hype to finally be able to play all the games that resellers are charging 100 or more dollars for. Radiant historian perfect chronology being one I'm VERY hype for. Along with 7th dragon. Hype.

7th Dragon is my favorite, especially i play the PSP version named 7th Dragon 2020. I also buy the version that has Collector's Box & Art Book because i like that game a lot XD Customizing chara sprite + class + voice(My most favorite), fighting a bunch of Dragons, fantastic story, and not as complicated as Etrian Odyssey with that map creating thingie(I'm not a bright child so this is a pain for me). Some say that this is the last 7th Dragon game since if i remember correctly, the story took place after the event of 7th Dragon 2020-II. No regret buying this game :D

7:43 while I’m at it... Kemco has made a LOT of mobile jrpgs of different flavours. There is a ton of them and if you’re searching for some, here are a few good ones from Kemco: -Machine Knight: he just talked about it and everything he said was true. And though the game doesn’t hold up anymore technically, its still a good game that can run on old android (and maybe iphone devices). It’s also completely free (on android anyways) -Asdivine series: there’re 5 games here to cover but I’m putting them all in the same boat for they are, relatively identicle gameplay wise. Note: asdivine menace is a direct sequel to dios and asdivine hearts 2 is a sequel to asdivine hearts 1, I’d recommend playing the prequel games first so as to not liss out on a few references. Also some really really difficult high difficulty settings with long battles and strategy if you like that kind of thing like me. Out of all their games they are still for me their best games thanks to its good story that even if generic holds up well. Plus they’re f2p without a massively annoying paymodel. Dragon sinker: an oldschool dragon quest game with a good resolution and modern gameplay standards! This one is very much worth your time if you liked some of the older, non 3rd person, dq games. Note on payment models: the payment model is one of two: They use two payment models: What both have in common: they both use microtransactions for in game for bonuses: these games are mostly very easy and dont disrupt your game so they’re a non existent issue in all cases. 1:single payment with no ads (+mtx mentionned above) 2: free with ads: in the early game, these only happen every time you save, but after a certain point you get banners. For the love of god turn off your internet when playing these games. Sometimes their free games dont include ads (eg. dragon sinker)

THE MAIN ISSUE - on e shop 3ds, alot of games unless you actively look for them, don't even show up on the e shop. You look in rpg section, and 7th dragon isn't there. But you look on nintendo site itself and it does.

I have heard of 7th dragon. I want to give it a try, one of these days! I'm so glad Unchained Blades was mentioned, I forgot that it was on the 3DS. Lol. I only owned the PSP version and I had such a fun time with that game. Shame that we never got the sequel, it will forever be locked away in japan... FOREVER SAD. In my opinion, Unchained Blades is considered one of my favorite dungeon crawling RPGs where it has a good story, nice cast of characters, not a lot of fanservice and good gameplay mechanics. It felt wonderful to own an army of monsters, heheheh.

Moco Moco Friends is really good if you're into Pokemon style games and are looking for something different. Especially if you liked games like games like Style Savvy and Disney Magical World. The only thing 'lazy' about the game is that there's not much to the hubworld (though it does expand a little if you stick with it). But it's a very cute hidden gem that would especially be right up a lot of girl gamer's alleys.

I bought the first two Langrisser remakes on Switch recently, so I was wondering if I should get the 3DS one before the eShop closes. Glad I'm not missing out on much though. I did get Crimson Shroud though, and a bunch of other Level-5 games. I also got Culdcept Revolt years ago during an eShop sale, where it was discounted to a whopping £5!

I got 7th Dragon 3 when it came out but haven't had much time to play it, though I was a little sad it was nothing like 7th Dragon 1 (fan translation), which I adored. But...I'll take almost any first-person grid dungeon crawler.

Erick what are your thoughts on the Warrior's style games like Dynasty Warriors or Hyrule Warriors and so on? I'm only asking since I saw a video, an article, and forums posting about a possible Xenoblade Warriors. I like the idea, but I personally want Castlevania Warriors to happen. I don't mind Xenoblade coming first, but I think it should wait until Monolithsoft confirms its new project title

As of now you can now play every 7th Dragon game they just released the patch for 7th Dragon 2020-II, so if you don't mind emulation you can now enjoy the entire series! I have been playing God Wars Future past and it is a pretty damn decent Tactics RPG. The classes in it are actually very unique and have tons of skills for each of them. So many class based Strategy RPGs don't really have very unique classes they got like 1 or 2 skills and a bunch of passives.

I was thinking Concept Revolt looked alot like Culdcept 2 on Dreamcast and wondering if they were related so I looked it up and realized it's Culdcept* Revolt and you just made a spelling error.

Man I so wanted to get 7th Dragon but it release same day as SMTIV Apocalypse why I still don’t know why Atlus would think it was a great idea but in the end I ended up buying the extension of Horizon Zero Dawn. Yeah I correct one mistake by buying 7th Dragon last week yet I still have to get to it maybe after VALKYRIA CHRONICLES 4 since I bought day one and finally got started last weekend after booting up and end up playing monster hunter world

Fossil Hunters reminds me of Spectobes. Dig not pokemon fossils out of ground, resurrect them go on adventure/fight evil...do remember the details.

A lot of these games would be super affordable. Now is probably a really good time to be buying them.

I noticed that 7th Dragon game is on PSP and also gotta say tons of great Atlus 3DS rpg's are like really cheap still. Like PSP, PS1 and PS2 there all like around $100 but on 3DS I feel like I can get an ok collection going. RIP ATLUS

psp has aswell too much obscure jrpg games. Shining blade is almost perfect, the two 7th dragon 2020 are hard as hell and the valkiria chronicles 2 and 2.5 ever released in america. With cfw you can play these gems in english, is piracy but is the only way to play, or expensive and rare imports. Nice video i suggest you check the psp, you will be surprised
