Austin Powers can't be rebooted without Mike Myers

The MCU, _Star Wars,_ _Indiana Jones,_ _Hunger Games,_ and _Mission: Impossible_ are great enough as they are. Another I might add is _The Karate Kid,_ a franchise whose 2010 reboot was only rectified through the ongoing _Cobra Kai_ TV series. So call me out all you want on my inclusion of 2010's _Karate Kid_ on my list, but I rest my case.

The Chronicles of Narnia series. I can’t imagine another Peter, Susan, Edmund, and Lucy, even Prince Caspian!

I love Back to the Future! I remember trying to get my little sister to watch the series for a long time. After pestering her, she gave in and said: “Ok fine, let’s see what the hype is about.” So I put in the DVD and we watched it together. After watching the first movie, she turned to me and excitedly asked: “Jaco, can you please put in the second movie?!”

The cast were perfect but I wish it would because some of the movies sucked. Nothing like the books! Should have been a high budget tv series.

How would you feel about an animated reboot television series using the same music from the movies. It would have 7 seasons (one for each book) and each episode would be for a single chapter from the books.

I’d personally like to see a more accurate adaptation of the books but in the form of a series instead of movies

I think Harry Potter is indeed much better suited for a tv series than for a movie franchise.

I feel like why so many people hold Marvel in such a higher pedestal than DC is mainly because of Warner Bros's neverending meddling of their overall projects. One of the major reasons is because Marvel TRIES to resolve SOME of their overlooked cliffhangers or unanswered questions while so many DC projects have plots that still have unresolved plots either because of Warner Bros or because the writers haven't thought that far to resolve. This is part of the reason why I loved Crisis on Infinite Earths. No, it's not the best DC crossover ever outside of the comics. I barely read comic books anyway. Crisis on Earth X is still the best in DCTV. But it's one of the few times in recent memory that multiple DC projects, especially some of which used to be completely separate, build up higher stakes in a climatic storyline (and before Justice League Dark Apokolips War) and they finally pay it off! And they gave an honorable death not only to the man who started this entire franchise but also to another character we never thought we'd see again, because another actor is playing that character and because his own show was cancelled almost two decades prior which is The Flash! Even Warner Bros, who continuously eff up DC projects, did something right for once and allowed a cameo for the other Barry! Screw the actor, they should've never casted him, but you can't deny how awesome that moment was! Yeah, even when they do something right, it's at the expense of other people. But what matters, is that the crossover paid off a major storyline for better or worse.

And maybe even the Alien movies

there technically already IS a direct sequel to the BTTF trilogy in the form of Telltale's adventure game

Hollywood would better take a note and watch this list. If ever they tend to reboot franchises being listed there, they're gonna be making a huge mistake.

Technically, The Mummy franchise was rebooted back in 1999.

I was asking myself the same question especially when talking about the original trilogy with Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher and Harrison Ford. Still it's Ms Mojo so it's not much of a surprise with this glaring misstep...
