Becca I love the tracing paper. I have been using the Rhodia paper with Tombow small pens, but today using the tracing paper I was able to see a big improvement COPYING the letters (not just tracing them). So fun!

Spending six hours in the art/craft store is fun. Spending the grocery money, not so much, but it's something I've done more than once. It's just so easy, and besides, I * need* this stuff. Yeah, I guess there's a reason my home has just enough room for me and the cat. But I can enjoy myself to no end in there - there's art stuff, and knitting and crochet stuff, (which is art stuff in its own way).

i'm defenetly gonna try to get the Rhodia paper, and I got the fudenosuke for my birthday, I don't know if I really need those black wing pencils if I can just use a normal pencil, and I probably have some sharpie oil pens somewhere I also think I have some good paint brushes. :)

Yay! This is so very helpful. There might be yet another way to pronounce those pens..."Seen-yo" would be the Italian way to pronounce it. Of course I have no idea if that's right, but who knows. :)

N English , we have at least 10 men in our San Antonio Calligraphers Guild. Google: Reggie Ezell, Julian Waters, Peter Thornton, Michael Sull, Brody Neuenschwander, Thomas Ingmire, Donald Jackson, John Stevens, Hans Joachim Burgert & Denis Brown, to name only a few well-known calligraphers that come to mind.

*PLEASE REPLY!!!!* Excuse me? I'm new to calligraphy, and I found this awesome channel! I really like it, but about any of the products, do they make any type of odor? Specifically the sharpie oil paint pens. I have a bad experience with sharpie's because I have gotten sick from the odor. I really want these things. Please reply!! 😊

Just found this, Becca. Luckily, I have them all, except the oil-based Sharpie paint pens. I bought some really nice little realistic “foam” pumpkins, in the dollar bin, at Target. I want to write the name of each of my family members on them. One is forest green, & 3 are varying shapes & sizes of orange. Two are matte & one has more of a slick finish. To do faux calligraphy, would you recommend the oil-based Sharpies for these pumpkins? My local independent art supply store had their big vendor sale last weekend, and so much was on sale. Coincidentally, I got 4 Princeton watercolor brushes, but they don’t say “Snap” on them. They say “Heritage” .It says they are artificial sable. Have not tried them yet. Do you think these will work? Other than that, I have every other item you listed...before I even saw this video. Guess I have no excuse for getting on with it! I purchased a couple more of your digital download watercolor books last night. Haven’t downloaded them yet.

I personally prefer the Tombow Mono drawing pens instead of Microns. Not only are they better available where I live, but...I don't know, they feel so good. I'm strange. But most things you show are so good and I wish that Rhodia paper would be better available here. It is difficult and sometimes they want 15€ for a 20 leafs. Like...no. That's not the original price.
