i watch all your videos and they are great , question i have many of these plants and they say not safe around pets like birds or cats if eaten.do the cats bother them

Hi Rod, we have 1 dog and a few cats...no birds, so I can't speak to the birds part of the question because I don't have experience there. However, the cats munch on the dracaenas sometimes...they don't do it enough to get sick though. The only trouble I have had with the dogs around the plants is that the dog sometimes tries to "mark." My hypothesis is that he may be confused...my plants resemble trees? hahaha. Outside of those minor things, my pets do not bother the plants--they ignore them. The cats don't even try to climb up my giant staked plants--or my trees. It's really interesting, actually, that they are uninterested in the plants. But, if you ask me, haha....they love them and enjoy looking at them as much as we do! :"-) Anyway, the cats don't really try to munch on any of the plants other than the dracaena. And the munching is relatively minor when they do....keep in mind, though, that this is just my experience and that other pet owners may have other experiences....and, also, that the plants are poisonous to pets. If you introduce a plant that is poisonous, be sure to place in in a spot where your pet cannot reach it? Best of luck! Let us know how it goes!
