Thanks fam! The thing about the sp, it’s not so obvious on how to use it, especially with the many shortcuts and buttons you have to press to do a certain features. Even Roland videos are hard to understand because of the guys accent and they don’t put text on the screen so people can actually digest and understand the buttons they need to press to do something. I felt like there was videos out there making it easier for users. So I got y’all!

That would be truly helpful as a reference. I just got my Mk2 and am now learning to use it, so your post with the new features for the latest version (which I've already downloaded) is right on time.

Such a great video to come back to since I'm still getting use to the new update. One thing I'm having trouble with is getting the Maschine stand alone to recognize my SP 404 Mk2 as an audio device. My PC recognizes it but not Maschine. Any suggestions or links you could reccomend?

Very true! I hope they allow us to use the sp within our DAWs next (in a fictional way, I know we can pull up the app but we can’t use the sampler in the DAW YET)

Are the “bus fx” and “hold” buttons meant to be kinda floppy compared to the rest? Like I can press only the bottom or only the top all the way, and the other pads don’t 🧐

Mk2 looks like the SP I dreamed about when I was 17 ahaha. Definitely gonna be saving up for one... Are you able to charge it up via the power supply alone? Or do you need to have batteries in to use it without it?
