This video is meant to keep me and hopefully anyone else on budget with the book we are excited about while hopefully also putting some books on peoples radar. Ultimate Spider-Man & Ben Reilly have been my most anticipated all year let alone December. I kinda agree on the covers these chose for Ultimate though. Kinda wish we got another solo Spidey cover.

Yeah those covers are horrid! I honestly HATE the borders more then anything idk why haha but using carnage AGAIN and moonknight randomly really confused me.

My friend!!! You have such cool recommendations. Army of Darkness is in my top 3 movies of all time. I already have 2 omni’s and I am definitely getting that movie adaptation. Didn’t know it existed. Thanks, man. 🙏🏻 Dark knights of steel and Fear agent I have pre-ordered too. Looking forward to them. I also ordered “Four gathered on Christmas eve” from Mike Mignola, Becky Cloonan, Eric Powell… 4 Victorian ghost stories. 😱

Aye Ben! Those are some solid choices! Haven’t read or heard of Four Gathered on Christmas Eve so I might have to check that out! (Look at you giving me recommendations now!)

Pre-ordered Fear Agent, Spiderman (Zdarksy), Young Justice. USM is already on the way. You can't pay me to read Millar stuff or early Image comics. Enjoy seeing where we overlap in our "venn diagram" and where we don't.

Solid pick ups! And heck yeah it’s super cool! One of the many things I love about comics. You can hate Millar while I Love Millar yet we enjoy the same medium, LOVE IT! Ps. Millar has missed the mark for me a couple times also, Wanted is still the worst comic I’ve ever read lol

@@Illuminerdy_ me too, I’ve heard great things! It will probably jump to the front of my to read pile along with ultimate Spider-Man volume 3. I’m excited for the zdarsky Spider-Man omnibus even though I have the OHC of life story. Double dipping and hoping the other content is good too haha

@@gregrome6842 most Remender books jump to the top for me so I don’t blame you! Honestly if I had that OHC I’d skip on the Omni but that’s me. The other content is still good but life story is clearly the selling point, despite it being the prettiest omnibus we ever got.

These are at the top of the to get list💪😁. My tops are pretty much the same. The Savage Dragon I was going to get these at first in soft cover but then when I saw the pricing I said I will wait good thing now where on vol 2 keep them coming. The Chip spiderman omni hell yea. I will be broke this month 😁

It seems like most of our top 5s are the same which is pretty cool! Yeah I was very impressed with the quality of the savage dragon ultimate collection vol 1 and it has some solid and interesting extras! Appreciate you Havok! Always showing love ✊🏻

i haven’t bought any comics in 2 months cause i’m trying to read more of my collection before i buy more but i need to pick up batman eternal and ben reilly vol 1!

Nothing wrong with making a dent in the TBR pile! I don’t love the Batman Eternal Run but the Ben Reilly stuff is GREAT in my opinion so I hope you enjoy!

December is has to be a leaner month for me. Comics budget has been stretched pretty thin over the last few months from picking up some original art pieces. That said, I'll definitely be reading Nightwing and Dark Knights of Steel digitally and picking up Fear Agent at some point in 2024

December is light for me also! Holiday season means a lot of funds are accounted for already! I need to get into reading digitally again especially with Hoopla being a thing now. Your a spokesman for Hoopla at this point I think haha

I lean more towards no sense it seems we barely get hardcovers for his titles these days but I sure hope one day we do! I agree about Dark Knights Of Steel! I feel that will come with time just like DCeased!

SM by Zdarsky has the 3 best cover choices have seen for an Omni. Really struggled to decide which to go for. Went for the shirt in the end. Like you I enjoy Millar as a guilty pleasure. You know what you are going to get. Also goes without saying stoked for USM3 so I can start reading the entire run thru from no 1 onwards but like you again hate all 3 covers. Such a contrast from the Zdarsky choice.

Agree about the Zdarsky covers. I went with the the Sequiera cover but all of them are great.

Totally agree about the covers for both Spider-Man Omnis. 1 did so great while the other did so HORRIBLE! I went with the USM #100 cover mainly because of the spine! And NICE me and Gary are Millarverse Bros! ✊🏻
