Another series about books is a cozy mystery series called The Scottish Bookshop Mysteries by Paige Shelton. In it, an American woman moves to Edinburgh to work in a bookshop/museum and she hears what she calls "bookish voices."

The Shadow of the Wind by Carlos Ruiz Zafón is just a fantastic book if you want to read about books and writers. I just love this story and it’s characters so much!

I am currently reading The Strange Case of the Alchemist’s Daughter and it’s fantastic! It’s quite long, and the sequel is longer, but it’s certainly worth it. I recommend the audiobook, if you like those; the narrator does a great job with the different types of voices required.

My favourite book about books is The Starless Sea by Erin Morgenstern! It’s so whimsical and nostalgic and the world it creates just lives in my heart forever. I’d definitely recommend it!

I don’t need another copy of The Thirteenth Tale. I don’t. I really don’t. But I really want the edition you have.😂 This is one of my favorite books of all time. Also, I just started Radiance by Grace Draven, based on your recommendation. I’m about 8 chapters in and I am LOVING it. I’ve gotten some really great romance suggestions from your channel. As a thank you, I’d like to recommend another graphic novel, All-Star Superman by Grant Morrison. I think you said once that you aren’t a superhero person, but I truly loved this story. It’s a hero’s journey tale, wherein Superman finds out that he is dying. It’s got all the superhero stuff, but it’s also about a man coming to grips with mortality and the things that ultimately matter to him. It’s one of the best graphic novels I’ve ever read (and I love superheroes). 😊

If you haven't read The Book Jumper by Mechthild Glaser then you have to it's amazing I am currently 130 pages in and it's every readers dream. I love it so much

Definitely a favourite genre, current bookclub read is The Bookman’s Tale by Charlie Lovett. Multiple timelines which so far have been done very well. A third of the way through and some mysteries are a brewin 😁

I would dare to say ‘If on a winter’s night a traveller’ by Italo Calvino is the king of this genre. Highly recommend!

I was a little wary of clicking on this video both because I have more implicit trust on your recommendations than my wallet would prefer me to have and because I - being a writer plying from a town with none of my liking to discuss writing with, I tend to recompense for it by having in my library books pertaining to the writers I admire, the writing life, the writing process and fiction pertaining to the writing life - might in all probability end up exploring these all.

I highly recommend too The shadow of the wind by the Spanish writer Carlos Ruiz Zafón, I think you will love it. And El año del verano que nunca llegó, I don’t know the title in English, by WILLIAM Ospina, it’s the story of how Mary Shelley created Frankenstein during a lockdown with lord Byron and other writers. Love the Thursday Next series - a great blend of alt history, fantasy, bookishness and quirky humour similar to that of Pratchett and Gaiman.

I tried the thirtheen tale, not for me I dnf it. Love the strange case of the alchemist daughter and Sofia Khan. I tried Romancing the duke, thought it was fine.
