@@patrickmcginty3234 SPOILER Fate/Hollow Ataraxia He gets ressurected in Fate/hollow ataraxia, due certain time and space manipulation magic. It has good side too though. Characters like Archer, Illya, Rider, Lancer, Caster also get ressurected.

Pokemon sucks with rivalries, in Gen 1 Gary was the perfect Rival, but in the anime he loses in the championship even sooner than Ash does. the anime just cant do rivals right at all, too kid friendly to spark a skilled trainer to rival Ash, which is friggin' sad considering that Ash hadnt won a championship before Alola, like what the literal hell?!

Jerid feels weird for number 2. He kills off various named characters, and he has forced Kamille to retreat multiple times. I know he gets beaten alot, but he isn't terrible. The man had an act of surviving deathly encounters for a long while.

I agree with you, Jerid gets some decent character development and skills: He goes from an arrogant/entitled prick, to an experienced commander, to a man that's lost everything and desires revenge. Multiple times he's in position to kill important characters but is always stopped by deus ex machinas.

Speed o' Sound Sonic. In OPM S2 he began to feel more like a annoyance than anything else since both main characters outclass him considerably and he never actually posed a threat like Garou. Add that to the fact, he got taken out in the lamest, cheapest, extremely undignified way in S1. Edit: 2:12 The zooming close-up, the cut to a wide shot, the long hair flying from the speed of her forward rush, her body bending over the force of the counter in slow motion, the concussive force of her speed resulting a buildup of air in front of her like the ones on rockets re-entering the Earth's atmosphere, the vicious whiplash of her forward momentum being reversed causing the dust on the ground to rise up... the Ufotable magic.

Yep. Still consider Ash's loss to that idiotic "friendly rival" of his Cameron in the Unova League to be his worse loss in the Pokémon Anime for obvious reasons including plot-armor demanding that during the final round Cameron's Riolu evolve to Lucario and one-shot Snivy despite the fact Snivy was pretty much curbstomping Riolu prior to it's evolution.

I thought Sword was The good one Of The three (counting Motoyasu pre character development). given i heard Ren/Sword was about to die before getting summoned to Melromarc (or he died and reincarnated there. I don’t know if this will be popular but I think Motoyasu Kitamura should’ve been #1 considering all that’s happened in his series. i don't know about my favorite soda rivalry (maybe a bracket of the best root beers: i.e. Barq's, Mug, A&W, Frosty's, Dad's, etc.), but for sure my least favorite is Pibb Xtra vs Dr Pepper; it's not even a contest, they're nothing alike at all in terms of taste and flavor profile (but for those keeping track at home, Pibb is the superior conveyance of carbonated alternative refreshment betwixt the two).
