This was the era where things started to go downhill. It was when many franchises were getting gritty reboots. It was the era of sepia filter games. It was the start of the mainstreaming of DLC and patches. It was the era of AAA development costs skyrocketing causing the industry to take less risks if they were developing foe PS3 and 360. Also many devs didn't make the transition to HD development well. Lastly it was the start of Nintendo systems being underpowered and they kinda ignored their core audience and courted casual gamers who would leave and never come back. The Wii was a wasteland in the latter years. If you didn't like jrpgs tough luck because really the only non-casual games that came out after Skyward Sword were Xenoblade chronicles, the last story and Pandora's tower.

Depends. If you have a modded vita it can natively run psp games ,but if we talking stock/non modded the psp is better cause of the library and ease of access.

@@aquapyro1 Obviously the Vita will have the better hardware since it was the next gen successor to the PSP. That is like saying the PS4 has better hardware than the PS3.

@@aquapyro1 And the PSVITA is proof that hardware alone does not sell. Sony needed to bring in banger games and they just didn't. The Reason why the 3DS was so successful and even the Switch was because Nintendo actually treated them like an important platform and supported it accordingly.

IGN reviews games and new tech and the most inside information they get is when they’re sent consoles/games a week early to hype it up at launch.
