Anyone remember the random ass chaos xyz Number C104: Umbral Horror Masquerade which is from a barely-an-archetype Umbral Horror archetype that surprisingly has an all-in-one negate, rip a random card from your opponents hand and then halfs their life points effect? It even pops a backrow on its summon, if only it was easier to summon though.

You can also Xyz summon this card using a “Labyrinth Wall Shadow” you control as material, and if you do, this card gains it’s effects while on the field. Gains 200 DEF for every card in the GY, and ATK equal to the total ATK of all “Shadow” monsters attached to it. This card can attack directly while in Defense Position. If it does, apply its ATK for damage calculation. Once per turn (Quick Effect), You can tribute 1 card from your hand or field: Attach 1 “Shadow” monster from your hand, field or GY to this card as material. If this card leaves the field, you can special summon 1 “Shadow” monster that was attached to it, ignoring its summoning conditions._ ATK/0 DEF/5000

In cyber dragon decks in the link era sometimes Nova’s revive is used to help go into link plays, but other than that, yeah it’s just Infinity fodder

Another funny thing with Durendal is in Photon Galaxy, the newer trap card has the effect of when it's destroyed it skips your opponents turn. Very funny Interaction.

I really thought i could see river stormer on this list. It searches any earth machine from deck to hand including regulus, which is a powerful move. Its other effects are not bad due to pretty good stats so the 1st effect will let stormer gain more material for zeus play.

Top 10 Extra Deck Engines Engines like the Predaplant combo that gives (gave) you access to Brilliant Fusion Or the Speedroids that can get you a Rank 3 XYZ without using your normal summon Or the Windwitches that can get you a Crystal Wing Synchro Dragon with destruction immunity Stuff like that

It's interesting how only XYZ's were covered here. There are some Lvl5 synchos I still go out of my way to use, like Magical Android and Stygian Sargeant and Hi-Speedroid Chanbara.

ZW - Leo Arms deserves a mention too. It is one of the few that go 3k+. I managed to get a prismatic first in DL.

Arc Rebellion dragon can also xyz ontop into a rank 7 rebellion by using itself as a material, this is kinda nuts because the rank 7 can attack 3 TIMES during each battlephase.

What about nash knight? It lets you summon any 101-107 nunber from your extra deck while attaching an opponent's monster on a quick effect.

Chronomaly vimana its kind of like the CWSD for rank5. Also the rank5 suship simply because people on MD dont read and try to negate the on summon effects just to get counter negated

I believe the best thing rank 5 utopia is Number C39 Utopia Ray Victory because it has a lot of good effects and it’s a omni negational and it gains a monsters attack points.
