Yes, she keeps talking about "The Franchise" this and "The Franchise" that, talking about the dialog, etc., as though the movie company _invented_ everything. The fact that Rowling came up with everything, kept track of it all, inter-spliced, foreshadowed, outlined, and even illustrated things for her own conceptions, all the while juggling a baby, living in a tiny apartment, on the Dole, is monumental. I've always wondered what percentage of the fan base has never read the stories, doesn't realize how much is misinterpreted in the films, and doesn't know _exactly_ how a lot of it, explained in the novels, works. I'm quite glad the films inspired so many children to read, but on the other hand, an awful lot of thought, "Oh, now I don't have to read the books, the movies tell it all."

I love this series. Me and my brother grew up with this series and watched every one in theaters as they are released. We love the world, the characters, and the story that we shed tears when it ended, but are happy and grateful we experienced it and are nostalgic to this day.

Harry Potter came into life when my sons were graduating from high school so the characters was filling my empty space plus I would have loved going there. They also kept the same kids for all the movies. I got to watch them grow up.

I was 11 when the first book came out and since following books were released roughly every year I LITERALLY grew up with Harry and Co. Twenty years later and I still read the entire series every few years. It is THE formative series of my childhood and opened the door to my reading fantasy as a kid. :)

This was the phenomena of my childhood years. We couldn’t wait to see the films and devoured the books as soon as they came out. When the final film released ten years ago, all of us who were college-aged were bawling our eyes out at the final scene as the camera panned up to the sky mirroring the first film’s final shot. It was a wonderful ride

20 years later the books and the movies still give me up he same sense of magic and wonder that it did when I was 10. Still to this day I always get super emotional at the end of the first movie and the final film. The score still gives me so much joy and comfort and good now I’m going to be watching this. This movies just make me happy they make me feel like no matter where I am or how unsafe or lonely or stressed I am they make me feel so much comfort. I will never not love these movies and books. I just can’t stand jk Rowling anymore but that’s another topic for another day.

harry potter is my all time fav series . I have always lived by all quotes given in the series . it has been 9 months since i am following it. i have never followed a series for so many months . i still cant belive that it is not just a series but all in all something which makes you fell at home. i can never forget the day i saw philosephers stone for the first time and thought this is such a nice movie to watch. but the day my parents had covid was my worst day and then i was scrolling through a song called hey brother and i saw there was a golden trio edit made in that song so i thought of seeing it. the moment i was seeing the edit my parents came running towards me saying they were tested positive and me and my sister had to go to our maternal granparents house . we were in tears bcz we had to leave our parents and our pet all alone at home . but the moment we went to our granparents house we saw that helen mccrocy passed away as the day was going on it was getting worse and worse. at that moment the edit helped a ton . that is another reason why harry potter is and will always be my favrouite.⚡🌟😄

I literally grew up with the films (I was 1 when the Philosopher's Stone came out) and from the Chamber of Secrets onwards, I was taken to see each film in the cinema. Though I never read the books until I started a couple of months ago. It's like experiencing it all for the first time (barring the preconceived images I have for familiar names and places)! The books go into so much vivid detail and explain everything well. I'm on Prisoner of Azkaban now!
