How could you not include Harold McMillan? He resigned as PM when he was told he was terminally ill, and it turned out the doctors got it wrong

That feels a bit harsh to call it ridiculous, seeing as it was only wrong in retrospect. Resigning for believed terminal illness is perfectly reasonable.

OMG once I saw someone on twitter saying that the whole anti LGBT stuff was a "weird hill to die on" and he replied "Do you know who else died on a hill? Jesus" or words to that effect and it's hands down the most cringy thing I've heard a politician say (which is quite a feat!)

I actually feel sympathy for Farron. He made it clear he accepted the Lib Dems LGBT policies and that he had no interest in imposing his personal beliefs on society. That was not good enough for some people who seemed to think if he got anywhere near power he would launch some sort of anti-gay pogrom. However I have less sympathy for him obfuscating on whether he thought it was a sin.

There's no leader of the party holding a majority in the Commons. It's quite normal for there to be continued duty of Prime Minister until the new leader takes up the position. An alternative would be to have the Deputy PM take over, however that post is given by the PM and has no real constitutional power.

Lambton's scandal reminded me of what happened to one Charles Kushner, the father of Jared Kushner. Not getting into all the details, it involved a prositute, a hotel room, and a then federal prosecutor who eventually became a most hated governor of the state of New Jersey, and hard core Trump supporter Chris Christie.

The Profumo Scandal not making the list is very surprising. The Minister for War having an affair with Christine Keeler, of whom at the same time she was also knocking off the Soviet Embassy's Naval Attache at the height of the Cold War. They only made a film about it years later starring John Hurt, Ian McKellen and Bridget Fonda.

It's because the opposition is so often useless or living in a dream world (...Jeremy Corbyn). And of course for all its stuffiness, at times the Tories have embraced radical change and have been the only party to have 2 women at their head in Westminster (oops I forgot the forgettable Jo Swinson) - just think the Tories elected Mrs Thatcher as their leader in 1975 - that puts Labour to shame.

"when your government becomes a corporation" (profit seeking business - not to represent the people and undoubtedly all countries not only England) on the bridge website. Since Elizabeth I, which I didn't know until yesterday. Via a less censored search engine. Left wing. Right wing. Same vulture in the middle. Seems it always has been since the Romans, when I think about it, but definitely Elizabeth I 😖 I knew that the government UK Ltd was registered as a business at companies house on the 29th June 2005, and that it appears to have been used to asset strip with all departments and buildings being assigned to commercial corporations (such as EDF, Walmart etc) abroad and registered at Dun and Bradstreet USA, not the branch in England. Possibly some are registered in other countries and tax havens. Many have been renamed or are now 'owned' by another corporation, which is owned by another creating layers to make it difficult to find the actual (fraudulent) owners. The government UK Ltd no longer trades and has not produced accounts as legally required to Companies House. Until around four months ago it was owned by Laird James Coutts (same spelling as the royal bank) as sole owner. The name of the owner seems to now be hidden from public view. Around two or three years ago there was an application for strike off from Companies House and 'rumour' it was to be assigned to a the Crown Corporation before that also was assigned again to another. However, due to an objection the strike off was postponed, but the reassignment of the Crown Corporation went ahead. At the moment you can still see the registration at Companies House. Clearly, as all is stolen from us in fraudulent dealings, those who claim ownership apart from the British Public are not the owners at all. We must demand the return of our public Government, departments and buildings. People who are not too old, ill and who have the nous, determination and staying power must handle this whilst ensuring that they are not infiltrated. The second alternative is for enough of the employees and public to refuse to acknowledge their authority and to set up a new public sovereign government for the UK, and for each country in the UK, followed by doing the same with local authorities. Chiefly, taking over the central and other banks or setting up new ones to take business from the is vital. I am doubtful there are enough people who can and will do it. Too many think that bloody revolution is the only way, but all through history such revolutions are also controlled by the so called 'elite' and results in the same or worse rulership. Demanding the return of what is lawfully and rightfully ours, or writing it off and creating anew are the only other alternatives. I am no longer on fart buck etc so if you are please pass it on.
