Seriously if you've never died to the Dark Wizards, you've never played Runescape.

I restarted this game on Old School Runescape this morning and in the first five minutes of leaving Tutorial Island, those wizards killed me.

You triggered traumatic flashbacks with that earth strike sound effect ;-;

Before i even watch this i would like to say that i bet number 1 is going to be varrock wizards.

An oh so long time ago, when I was a noob, my friend and I were killing giant rats at Lumbridge. I had just gotten my very first new shiny set of iron armor, and I felt like I could take on the world. I was determined to get that level 10 strength. There I was, doing an epic 1v1 with a rat, when it dealt the killing blow to my poor character, as my friend is dying of laughter. I had no idea I didn't stand a chance against more than 3 of those rats. The worst part of all, to just rub salt in the wound, was when I respawned. I respawned not with 3 parts of my armor, but with 3 uncooked chicken breast. I realized shortly thereafter, that uncooked chicken breast was worth more than my precious iron armor. I was devastated. RIP iron armor.

You won't believe it, but a Cow in Falador's Farm killed me when I was level 4, and my big brother still bothers me with that lol. PS: I forgot how many times Dark Wizards killed me back in time, I guess no one survived them, NO ONE.

I remember a guy in full rune dying to the dark wizards. I got to pick up all his stuff before he came back, but I gave in to the guilt and gave him half back, swearing that I only got to pick half of his stuff up before it despawned. Those were the days...

dark wizards i remember seeing them in the distance and being like this is it run for your life and running to the guards for freedom it gave you a rush and once you beat them u felt great :D

ill never forget the days where i was mindlessly roaming around as a 10 year old with no idea about the world map, and then ended up at barbarian village and thought this is pretty cool and the fact the music really built up that atmosphere for me, ahh man same reason i play today is all those nostalgic feels.

I remembered I died to a highwayman by draynor the first day I played... But as I got more skilled in the game... I remember one thing that always terrified my friends and I even at level 50+ in rune armor were revenants. I remember exploring 40+ wildy once and getting attacked by an ork and it killing half of my group. And afterwards... my friends sending me angry emails and yelling at me at school for not keeping their graves alive when I was trying to not die myself XD

The music alone brings back so many memories, it's almost unsettling, but mostly satisfying.

For me, I'd have to put revenants on the list (idk if that's what they're called but I mean the ghost things in the wilderness) every time I'd go into the wilderness to go to clan wars or to explore, those damn things would kill me Cx I didn't know much about the game, so when I saw a high level ghost I would just peg it

Love your vids! The Elvarg part brought back a memory of the first time I faced her, I was proud of the fact I was wearing almost full rune and feeling like a badass. I charged in only too late to realise that I didn't have my dragonfire shield equipped *facepalm*

the nostalgic music and narration is a really nice touch. My first death was to a goblin. Not even the hob variety. I just wasn't watching my health.

How is draynor mansion not on this list? I remember getting stuck inside that mansion and not knowing of the only way out. Way before home teleport existed. I died to the vampire after trying to explore for a way out. Dark wizards at varrok are a good #1 tho. I think everyone has died to them at least once.

Actually I only unintentionally died like 4 times from 2007-2010 when I played before I quit due to hacking.. Lol :D I was waaaaaaay too cautious to go anywhere dangerous.. Well I got hacked from this. Mote Plox was the reason I started to play old school again, since I quit in 2009. I worked half a year on this old school account and I was doing fairly well. I had 15m and had decent skills according to the amount of hours I put in it. Now all of my efforts are gone All the time is spent on this game are now wasted and I'll never get my stuff back. So once again I will say goodby to runescape and with that this channel. I'm sorry but I just want to forget about runescape and that this ever happend. I really had fun with the time I played old school but I don't feel like doing it all over. It is something I will leave in the past, since I don't want to be remebered of what I had and don't have any more. I really enjoyed your channel and want to thank you for reintroducing me to the runescape I know and love, but due to 'Fake Plox' my times of joy with this game are over. With this I'll be taking my leave. Let this be a lesson for all of those who have not yet been hacked. Goodbye.

I remember when I just started playing Runescape I sometimes went to Draynor to do some woodcutting. When you're on your way to Draynor there's this cross with a Highwayman who would always attack me and kill me. Those moment we're one of the toughest for me when I was a noob.

i love it, i started playing back in 04, this video brought back tons of memories ! the entire video i was just waiting to see those dark wizzards in varrock ! lets not forget about the dark wizzards while your walking past the willows in draynor! that was the first place i ever died in runescape, and unfortunately that was before i learned what a bank was so i lost everything i had spent the past few days working on. funny how i was so crushed back then, meanwhile it was probably at MOST 1k!!!

so the draynor village zombie dungeon thingy brought memories back to me. me and my best buddy at the time entered the dungeon at lvl 18ish and both died to the zombies. think i lost something like a staff and some black robes but still one of my most cherished memories of my noobie days, that and seeing zezima at castle wars and being like "ah he's just a human being like myself i'll just cap flag while everyone follows him around". :D

Good God, so much nostalgia. I remember Elvarg was like the toughist thing when I was like a level 40 lol. And the last sound, I immediately recognized it but couldn't remember what it was. I also always feel kind of scared walking by them even though I'm lsvel 120 now. Sometimes I go on a rampage on them as revenge lol.

I remember as a kid that the Wilderness was one of my fav places to go, but I would always be terrified of it, because of that dreadful message that tells you about how dangerous the Wilderness is. Now, I joined at around the time when Revenants were still lurking around the wildy. So I just traveled around, and I remember seeing 3 revenant goblins in a straight line, walking away from me. My heart sank to my stomach as I realized what was out to kill me. I ran for my life the other direction, only to be destroyed by a revanant knight.

6:13 I just formed the ores south of Varrock to get my bronze business going. It was tedious to have to go back to lumbridge to use the furnace, but I made plenty of smithing xp and gold doing it.
