Some awesome tips I've been looking for good chairs I have tried a bunch. Also idk if it's common knowledge but in newer trailers there a quick connection for your propane tanks to run a line out just need an adapter, but I just camp at most for a week at a time so extra is better. Also thermacells are awesome for bugs.

All great items for sure. Love the Sawyer Picaridin repellent. Alice and I found it when we were back packing in Alaska and loved it. They also make one you can use to treat clothing that works great and holds up against 6 washes. We used to treat the clothes we hiked in so we could have a barrier to the bugs without having to apply the spray. The cover for the propane tank is a good idea also. Can't live without my Blackstone. Thanks for sharing. Gordon & Alice

Good video, enjoyed the list. We also have some of the same things, like the club chairs, a portable smoker (Traeger Ranger instead of the GMG DC), and the outland Firebowl and propane cover. I also have a Solo Bonfire that I love. Appreciate the tip on the Picaridin bug lotion, going to try it out. I noticed that it appears your RVLock is hitting the side wall of your unit and leaving a scratch/dent. (at 11:47 in the video, can see the decal is scratched/torn a bit to the right of Jason) Our RVLock did the same thing on our Solitude. It actually started to crack the gel coat fiberglass when I looked close enough. I bought a couple of nylon bushings and mounted them behind the door magnet on the wall so that it was able to contact and stop the door before the RVLock handle could hit the RV wall. (I would include a pic if I could)

To clarify your gazebo/fire comment, do you use the propane fire pit INSIDE the gazebo? That's gotta be super dangerous right? or is it safe?
@GetawayCouple3 жыл бұрын
Yes, we do use it inside. With propane, vs wood fire, you can control the flame and keep it low. Obviously you don't want to put it up against the wall of the gazebo.

The first thing you mentioned was having an outdoor rug, but when you made the video you didn't one laying out. Why was that?

Sorry if someone else asked this, but any concern using the fire pit under the canopy? Thanks
@GetawayCouple3 жыл бұрын
Well, from our basic testing it seems ok! Once you're inside you only need the fire on low setting because it warms up very quickly in there. We would stand up occasionally to feel the roof and it never felt hot.

Good video guys, do you think a small dog could be kept inside this and does this have a floor?
@GetawayCouple3 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the compliment! The gazebo does not have a floor. It does have tent stakes to hold it down. As far as keeping a dog in, I think it would depend on how bad the dog wants to get out as it could probably crawl under a wall depending on the dog's size and ingenuity. If you are sitting in it with the dog then it shouldn't be a problem. It goes all the way to the ground and you can zip the opening shut.
