Honestly, I wasn't expecting Chizuru, being my favorite lady in SNK, somehow I was expecting between Maki (despite her little appearance), Athena, and Kula, but hey I'll still take the no. 1 you picked! 🙏✨

Nice list! Here's mine: 10. King & Mai King is clearly the leader of the Women Fighters, and Ryo and Takuma hold her in high regard for her strength. Yuri might have all this potential but the fact that her family members would respect King over her speaks volumes to me. Mai is often treated as comic relief but her ninjutsu is pretty impressive and she's actually skilled at wielding fire, which is kind of a big deal in this universe. I'm not sure if she's stronger than King, but if we think about it, she isn't meant for 1v1 battles on a fighting ring, I feel like she could easily kill some people stronger than her using the environment to her favor, as a ninja would, just like Botan is able to mind control one of the most powerful characters in the series despite not being a fighter. 9. Athena Athena is lowkey overrated, most characters on the series have a defined fighting style, and hers happen to be chinese kung fu. That doesn't mean she can beat characters like King using martial arts only, what Chin teaches his students is how to blend telekinesis with kung fu. Kensou seems way more proficient with kung fu than Athena, what saves her is her telekinesis which is pretty impressive. The fact that she can teleport and reflect projectiles also puts her above Mai & King, though she seems physically weaker and slower than them. Outside the fighting arena, her other abilities like healing and telepathy also make me rank her high, cause being powerful isn't just about destructive force. 8. Angél, Foxy & Diana They're all genetically enhanced humans and there's no way to tell which one is stronger. Foxy and Diana were, if I'm not mistaken, on Zero's rank in the NESTS hierarchy, being superiors to Angél, but they all lack feats. 9. Whip Whippy is kind of underrated, she did win the 2001 tournament alongside K', Maxima and Lin, beating both Kyo and Iori, and the NESTS team with Kula, k9999, Foxy and Angél. K' is certainly the strongest but I find it hard he could take on the leaders + everyone else on his own, so Whip and the others were supposed to have pushed their weight. I'll easily rank her higher than the others cause she's been a staple in the series ever since, only being absent in XIII. 6. Mature, Vice & Leona Leona has a feat above everyone else below: she won the 2003 tournament. The official one at least, which means the Ikari Warriors beat the then unstoppable K'. Mature and Vice are in theory equal to Leona and Yamazaki as second class Hakkesshus, so I would rank them together. People seem to think Leona is stronger than them, especially post 99 when she started showing control over her Orochi power, but I'd say this is when Leona actually got on their level, she was actually weaker than Mature, Vice & Yamazaki before, which makes sense considering she was still a teenager. We could argue Leona is stronger than Yamazaki since he did participate in KoF 2003, but we can't say the same about Mature & Vice. They seem to respect/acknowledge each other in XIII and XIV, so I feel like they're all on the same level, there's nothing that suggests that Leona is necessarily stronger. Vice seems to have more physical strength and is seemingly resistant to pain, while Mature is at least as fast as Leona, and her Ebony Tears attack seems like a stronger X-Caliber, so what really would give Leona an edge over them would be her military equipment, which is kinda lame lol Mature & Vice did "resurrect" before Verse was a thing, so they actually come across as superhuman entities unlike the NESTS agents and Leona herself. 5. Kula & Shermie There's very little debate here, Kula is weaker than K' but easily stronger than everyone else below. Angél and K9999 ganged up on her, which automatically puts them below her in my mind. Shermie's power level is sort of unclear, she along with Yashiro and Chris are below the Three Sacred Treasures but we don't know how close their battle was. She could easily be stronger than Kula, and since Kula does hold back her true strength, I'm not sure she could beat the ever-bloodlusted Orochi Shermie. Still, they are on the same "stronger than everyone else, but clearly below a protagonist" tier and it wouldn't be fair to rank one over the other. 4. Dolores Dolores's control over earth automatically gives her an edge over electricity and cryokinesis. Freezing mud is much harder than water, and Dolores literally dissolves unto earth, she's kinda cheap if he think about it. She's able to conjure up huge boulders, bury people in mud, instantly lock them in a stone coffin and rain down stone darts, which is kinda more impressive than whatever Shermie or Kula have shown to be capable of. On top of all that, she's very wise and seems to have a strong degree of spiritual power. I'd rank her higher but being a newer character in the series, she lacks actual feats. 3. Isla/Amanda It's pretty much canon that the finals of XV were disputed by Hero vs Rival teams, which is a testament to Dolores and Isla's strength. It's also clear that the Hero team won, and they fought ReVerse, so while Isla must be close to Shun'Ei's level, she's definitely weaker, as Amanda isn't capable of discharging huge energy blasts like Gaianic Burst. Still, we don't know just how strong Amanda is, and since Isla was the leader of her team and her status as an Amplified Specter is highly estimated by Dolores, I think she deserves the top 3. 2. Elisabeth I was shocked to see her so low on your list. In XIII, Maxima states that Elisabeth is in the same league of the Sacred Treasures, and she does win the canon XI tournament beating both Kyo and Iori lol It's also implied she's the one who fights Saiki and then Dark Ash, since Ash addresses Betty directly as he vanishes, and she keeps his headress after everyone's memories are erased. Elisabeth can teleport, reflect projectiles and seems really strong physically, so I was shocked to see Athena and others above her. She's easily my #2, and maybe even a #1, she's the woman with the best feats in the entire series. Honorable Mention: Wanessa She was the first woman to win a canon KoF tournament in 2000! Maybe she got carried by K', but I wouldn't discount her, she seems above average when it comes to strength and speed. Iori respected her enough to allow her to join his team in 2001. Still I feel like King could beat her with her Venom Strikes, and as I said Mai isn't a regular brawler, so I couldn't include Wanessa on the list. 1. Chizuru While Elisabeth has the best feats, Chizuru pretty much counters her. What can you do against someone who can easily conjure up psionic constructs like Kusanagi and Maki, and seal your soul? Chizuru is kinda cheap, and she's supposed to be a rookie as Maki was the legit guardian of the Yata mirror. Goenitz really was a beast for taking down both Maki and Rugal. If i had to make a list without ties, it would be: 10. Whip 9. Mature 8. Vice 7. Leona 6. Shermie 5. Kula 4. Dolores 3. Isla 2. Elisabeth 1. Chizuru

In my opinion Elisabeth should be higher on the list, her light manipulation powers have incredible potential, and she can shape weapons out of it, like she did with the bow in xv, and she also seems skilled in raw power, so I would place her around the top

Great video and list! I expected Chizuru to be on the list but I wasn't sure if it was going to be first. For me King came straight to my head for the first place. Mai deserved a top 3 too. By the way Leona has learned to control her orochi side according to the manga and to kof 14. I really enjoyed the video! I personally found this list to be quite good! Having my whole team represented here (Athena, Kula, Yuri) in some way and form was nice, Athena and Kula especially with them near the top. I have no issue with your #1 being Chizuru, though I suppose that in a way, Nakoruru would be near or at the top even over Chizuru considering how technically OP she is as a literal spirit embodiment of nature as a whole and now officially canon to KOF's universe, but that's just me. Love your content, keep it up.

In terms of physical strength, I would say Angel is the #1 People tend to forget that she is a cyborg, like 'Android #18' from DBZ The mexican beauty is as strong (an probably weights) as Maxima (the big cyborg). I love how she is strong and also fast! Her fighting style is so unique and unpredictible. Angel rocks! Makes me think that NESTS Team in KOF 2001 could have won the tournament IF they have worked together as a team.

I’m actually surprised that Isla is not on the list given her powers and connection to Shune’i, Re: Verse, and Otama Raga. Like honestly all that would make her at most Top 2 alongside Kula IMHO. That aside good video.

I wonder if Luise Meyrink would fit on this list, like she can fly, teleport, "summon" a light sword out of her hand, use telekinesis and more. Also being the sub boss of KoF MI2 or 2006 does help her stance too, plus she is a biiiit underrated or overlooked rather, due to only appearing in one OVA and one PS2 pseudo 3D fighting iteration of KoF that gets more trashtalked nowadays I think then appreciated for all it's strengths it brings to the table.

One could say that Maki is technically stronger than Chizuru, but it was Chziuru who briefly brought a fully powered Maki to life in 2003. Angel is probably the strongest when you're looking for a literal Lightning Bruiser; Kula is currently the most powerful in terms of destructive ability according to what we've seen so far (unchecked, her power can literally be a weapon of mass destruction), but Athena and Chizuru have a lot of unexplored potential. In terms of combining all meanings of power in one person, Chizuru is simply unmatched, but Athena's raw combat power might well eclipse Kula's if she one day achieves full-on godhood. Hell, she might even rival Orochi if that happens!

I would personally put Elisabeth higher than Chizuru for two things 1-Chizuru while I call her the Zatanna of SNK, is really useless without her mirror by leaving her vital force in it, making it so that without it she can't even move and someone who knows this weakness can exploit it easliy. 2-Her two feats are sealing techniques and the forbidden ability of the mirror who could allow her to make an entire army of clones of her friends or even bring people who died. But it was never explained in detail how it worked and it only appeared in two games, it probably requires alot of energy and seeing how Kagura herself never used it without either being possessed by Botan and either in situations of distress like KoF Sky stage(Where she literally creates copies of Kyo, Athena and Orochi Iori) is either a move that requires alot of energy of her part or a forbidden/tabu for her clan Elisabeth doesn't have Kagura's dumb weakness and if her winquote to Kagura in XV is anything to go by, she is probably the strongest of the two to considerate Chizuru as a disappointment for her clan. Again I wish SNK had gave Elisabeth and Kagura more interactions but there's a reason why Elisabeth is "The Better Chizuru" The ash saga really ruined Chizuru by making her a jobber, the Shun'ei saga didn't do anything to make her look good IMO. And we all know Nakoruru is the strongest alongside Goddess Athena, but G. Athena is banned so that leaves Nakoruru as the strongest

I mean Orochi Yashiro draws his powers from the earth too, but doesn't need to actually USE the earth to win. I guess it's just two different aspects of earth powers but, I prefer Yashiro lol. I really do love that SNK is slow rolling Yuri's eventual dominance of the series. If she would choose her favorite style, and concentrate, she would be unstoppable. On all honesty, I believe Chizzy and Betty to be equals in strength, as Betty essentially is the "Faux Chizuru" of her story. I would Vice in 1st, if we were going by raw strength, because she casually talks about how she enjoys throwing Daimon, of all characters around like a rag doll.

This had to have been a pain in the ass to make! Hard enough to narrow it down to ten, as evidenced by having Vice and Mature share a spot! It'd be hard for me to figure out how far apart Athena and Kula were. Kula brought down that NEST satellite from orbit singlehandedly, a feat that I don't think is matched by any other playable character. Then again, Athena had a couple of games to herself. I don't know if any of the events in Psycho Soldier are canon in KOF as it's its own universe. I'm sure "Awakening from the Ordinary Life" may be more canonical if I was to take a shot in the dark.

Loved this list but my n.1 was missing: Whip. She has a gun. But also, some of the maximum impact fighters to me belong in the list: Ninon Beart (can summon meteors), Xiao Lon (a member of the Hizoku clan that has extreme abilities and poisons) and Luise Meyrink (literally an immortal alien).

I would put Luise Meyrink in the top 5 The "space butterfly" is a very powerful magic user 🦋 Maybe as strong as Elisabeth and Orochi Shermie As a honorable mention I would put Ninon Beart, the dark witch. Like Luise, Ninon is a very skilled magic user. She is a witch and she can summon spirits of dead people, like the spirit of Goenitz (that was official, wrote by Ureshino, the same mangaka who wrote the story of MI2). Makes me wish Ninon interacts with Dolores. Good list, my only complaint about KOF though, and it’s short is you can’t tell who won and lose matches canonically in between tournaments that you’re left for an imagination on how things went through. And so far, I almost felt 3/4a of the roster are jobbers to midcarders so meaning one of each three members either carry the match for them or maybe one of them could threw the match on purpose for plot sakes. (Pretty sure Kim is now on the bottom of the Barrel including Chang and Choi, lol poor guys) KoF has gone a mixed blend between old school Anime and Bleach if anything else now that we’ve come to KoF 15. P.S. I’m surprised you didn’t include Mai, but for a good reason she’s like that bimbo character, powerful but doesn’t have the best brains how to use them.

Storywise, the strongest is Athena, being a reincarnation of a Goddess. Gameplaywise, strongest are '96 Chizuru and Maki of 2003. Good luck blocking her attacks and hitting her. Fandomwise: Mai. No questions asked. She even had a player based campaign called No Mai, No buy. Strongest GF of Terry: Blue Mary. The only one of the three (2 from OAV, Whoooooo Angel!) Love interests of Terry that lasted more than 1 episode. Special awards: Vice and Mature. For being original characters that can stand with Iori and even betray Goenitz.

I am of the opinion that Leona is the strongest female character. For example, since Orochi power is the pinacle, I believe her to be the strongest. Coupled with assassin training, she is literally a modern ninja.
