➡️ Insomnia
Magnesium has been shown to help with sleep because it supports healthy GABA levels. GABA is an important neurotransmitter that influences sleep. Those with low GABA levels are more likely to experience insomnia.
➡️ Increased Levels of Stress and Anxiety
People are more stressed out now than ever before, with about 33 percent of Americans struggling with extreme levels of stress. If you have a magnesium deficiency, it can only make matters worse.
➡️ Increased Levels of Fatigue
Fatigue is often one of the first signs of magnesium deficiency. Everyone experiences a little fatigue from time to time due to not getting enough rest. A magnesium deficiency has been shown to cause muscle weakness which can leave you feeling tired and weak for extended periods of time.
➡️ Poor Digestion
Magnesium helps your body with digestion because it activates the enzymes that work to break down food into energy that can be later used as fuel. Without enough magnesium, your body won’t digest foods as well which can lead to abdominal pain, diarrhea, and constipation.
➡️ Migraines
People who experience migraines often work extremely hard to figure out what's causing them. With that said, they often fail to consider that it could possibly be their diet.
➡️ Mood Swings
If you've been experiencing any of the other symptoms that we've mentioned in this video, you’ve most likely been having mood swings as well. Magnesium is essential to balancing brain functionality. Therefore, low magnesium levels can destabilize your mood and result in behavior changes and emotional instability.
➡️ Increased Blood Pressure
We've talked a lot about how magnesium is linked to the brain and certain mental health issues. Magnesium also plays a major role in cardiovascular health.
➡️ Irregular Heartbeat
This is actually one of the most serious symptoms that can occur from having low levels of magnesium. Having an arrhythmia can increase the risk of certain cardiovascular conditions such as a heart attack or stroke.
➡️ Osteoporosis
Most people are aware that calcium is an essential mineral for bone health. With that said, most people don't realize that magnesium is important as well. Approximately 60% of the magnesium within the body is stored in bones.
➡️ Muscle Cramps
Magnesium is involved in the biochemical process of muscle contraction and nerve transmission. Studies found a link between those with frequent muscle cramps and those with a magnesium deficiency. This explains why magnesium supplements have become a widely used remedy for legs cramps over recent years.

In all my 57 years of life no doctor has ever said anything about magnesium neither have they ever said anything about vitamin D until the pandemic.I had recently started taking magnesium on my own about about 2 years ago due to a video I had seen. So, I take those two in addition to a multi vitamin consisting of vegetables. I also take zinc, & vitamin k which used to be included in food, but is no longer. It helps to prevent cancer. It’s been said the pharmaceutical companies give the doctors incentives to push pills on patients that are made in laboratories to just profit as a business. There’s not a lot of talk about prevention/cure on treating conditions. Thank you for sharing.

same here. I was told to take Vit D but never told about magnesium, Was told to take calcium but never magnesium. Also it seems the time of day can make a difference. I was taking it with evening meal to help with leg cramps but I get better overall results taking it with breakfeast. Ideally I would like to take it at both times but it loosens me up too much and it's not the oxide form. If anyone has any ideas please comment, thank you :)

I agree totally. And I'm even older.😉 We need doctors who practise holistic medicine. I'm shocked that there is no push to build strong immune systems in the community by the governments in Western society - it's like Big Pharma has become public enemy no. 1 and no-one is listening to doctors who understand the value of natural medicines. PS The UK ran campaigns on the value of oranges and eggs during WW2, so they have no excuse for this oversight!

The big pharma is EXACTLY the #1 enemy, their agenda is to make people sick, not cure them. So we have to relay on our research. I don’t trust them anymore. There are still honest doctors one can trust, but are harder and harder to find. Still possible so folks, don’t give up. Just be wise and do your homework! 💪

You’re also fortunate that you can absorb them. I have a lot of deficiencies, despite taking supplements and eating the right foods, due to absorption problems. Namely, Protien (related to allergies), B12, and Magnesium (related to stomach issues). This is not uncommon as a causative factor, not just as a result of, deficiencies. Still, my insurance won’t cover injections, though they are known to help.

For the last 3 years I’ve had very little motivation to do anything, tired 90% of the time and waking up from sleep with full body aches. I was also feeling down and out. I couldn’t figure it out. I took my son to his pediatrician of 16 years and she suggested that I try magnesium. I started taking 2 capsules a day with multi vitamin and immediately seen a change.

Over the years, I noticed a decreased energy level, poor digestion (mainly watery, runny stools no mater how much fiber I took), muscle cramps and twitching, increased blood pressure and most concerning of all, irregular heartbeats or fluttering. My PCP didn't have any answers for energy (vitamin D levels fine, red blood cell count fine) or muscle cramps and muscle twitching. He thought the heart stuff may have been due to me drinking energy drinks, which could be true. He sent me to a GI doc for digestion (oh, it's IBS, eat more fiber and probiotics). I swear, I started taking magnesium and most of this stuff went away. The random occasional heart fluttering has all but stopped (I stopped drinking energy drinks too). My bowel movements are more regular (I still take probiotics and increased my fiber as well). My energy levels are better. I'm hoping my blood pressure goes down as well. I think checking magnesium levels and increasing magnesium intake should be one of the first things doctors instruct patients to do if they have any of those symptoms instead of trying to put them on expensive pharmaceuticals.

There are a few different types of magnesium. They are not all created equal. Some absorbs better or is more bioavailable. One type may be more “energizing” while another “more relaxing”. If you aren’t getting results from one, this could be the reason OR it could just be that you aren’t taking a high enough dose….it could also be that you are taking it at the same time as your calcium. Calcium and magnesium compete for the same receptors. If you take a high calcium dose it will impair the absorption of magnesium…so it’s is best to take them at different times of the day…

Taking PPI's like Prevacid or Pantaloc can lead to poor absorbtion of magnesium. I take 30mg Prevacid twice daily... for last few years I have been having increasing muscle weakness and cramps. I added daily magnesium and the weakness and cramping has totally gone away!!

People need to be diligent in taking charge of there own health. You can gain a lot of info from the internet. Look at many sites. The bottle will also give you instructions on how to take. Some people may need a higher dose than others ,be aware of your response . You may need more or less. I found most doctors have little knowledge in this area. I have improved many health issues on my own with supplements. I am continuously reading about health issues and supplements. Take charge of your own health.

This is terrible advice if someone has a severe health problem, disregarding doctors advice and being your own armchair doctor by taking supplements for something possibly life threatening is dangerous.

Magnesium I use I think issuess / repair? Mg for brain I might considerMag L-THEONATE. This type gets most concentrate in Brain, Brain to Body ratio 5:1 For muscle ( Gym, House, Fun) i think burning Fuel maybe sugar so MAYBE then Magnesium Glycinate. Also, Magnesium Malate (Malic Acid) is another good kind and for certain conditions, like I think Diabetes. BUT, BUT, always DIET DIET DIET ! Green Leaves,.
