Annie Potts is a national treasure. She's always been a phenomenal actress dating all the way back to Designing Women. She's a major reason why Young Sheldon is so hilarious with her sarcasm and unabashed sass 😂😂😂.

Gotta say, Annie Potts does a pretty good job as the wacky mother figure. She played a similar character in Arlo the Alligator Boy and it was pretty funny.

This is part of her comic trifecta: "Designing Women", "GCB" (gone way too soon), and "Young Sheldon". And part of the quad with the drama "Any Day Now". I'm so glad Annie Potts has graced our TVs for almost 40 years now. Pure gold.

I don’t really watch the show, but I definitely enjoy seeing clips of Connie, especially her scenes with Mandy, and being a better mother figure than Mandy’s actual mother.

Mee-maw & the rest of the cast is why I am so sad to see Young Sheldon end. It's become a bit awkward with "young" Sheldon so big now, but in all honesty, the rest of the cast is why I watch. Mee-maw, Georgie, and Missy in particular.

Connie in YS is nothing like the version of her that we saw in TBBT. If you do the math, Connie would have been in her early 90's when she appeared in season 9 of TBBT. Considering the lifestyle she lived in YS, it is unlikely that she would live that long.

I love the episode where everyone thinks Sheldon is a communist, and Connie stands outside her house, waving her flag and singing patriotic songs, and when a car goes by, with the driver yelling at her, she stops singing to yell “screw you!” And then continues singing. lol 😂

Y'all say Meemaw, I see and hear a combination of the Sugarbaker sisters and Mary Jo Shively from "Designing Women." 😂 The "Young Sheldon" writers and Annie Potts must've had "Designing Women" in mind with Connie Tucker haha. I just wish the series (and Big Bang Theory universe) could do a plot or subplot and "Designing Women" reunion with Potts (as Meemaw), Delta Burke, and Jean Smart. That episode's tag has them watching the series and making tongue in cheek comments about DW and the characters/actors.

It's funny on how George started fighting with Mary and her mom because of some brisket. He was about to get a divorce because she didn't want to give it to him. Imagine getting a divorce because of something that was about food. That's something crazy abd sad!

Those tornados are pretty scary and it’s so weird how one house gets thrown to s;;t but the one across the street only has a tree topple over in the yard. I’ve only traveled/commuted and had hail hitting at me, been in a couple minor earth quakes. No hurricanes that I can recall. Prepped for one at the office before going home. Im thinking along the lines of how I hear Texans take care of each other. Im sure MeeMaw will have her home built to her specifications. She’ll probably get some added pluses as if she didn’t already have a spa tub but say, that they just came out with them just not before Connie moved in. Stuff like that.

I love Annie Potts. I do my best to be a partner in crime. Aka MeeMaw. I love my one and only grandson so much. He’s the one who named me MeeMaw when he was about a year old. He wouldn’t say Oh-ma. He called me MeeMaw and it stuck.

Something i really liked about this show. Everything Sheldon and Mary said about their family are wrong. George, his brother and Missy really were good abd normal people. They weren't dumb like Sheldon and Mary would call them. George was a amazing father abd gave everything fir his family.
