Do not buy $650 swivel sockets.. my $80-90 pinless Astro sets are just as good and not one has broken in years of use, they all break equally when abused

I bought a 1/4" metric set from ares on Amazon. I was breaking loose transmission mount bolts with them. $40. 10/10 highly recommend.

The Capri 4 way wrenches are the best open wrench set for the money, very comfortable to snap on's set.

Pittsburg has really decent locking chrome extensions, mine have lasted for years now! Solid mechanism.

break out box is a good one, so many years of going back to doublecheck pins and graphing com lines. now just a quick glance to double check. It is indeed an expensive one trick pony, but if I broke mine id buy it again in a second. I got the aes wave one.

I’ve never used knee pads but just ordered some from JDTCo. Just don’t know if I’ll ever take the time to go grab one. Been on the fence about pico. Been using my Zeus/+ for several years

The one for me is my 12/24v battery charger from Mac tools. Working in an fleet shop with older equipment you are always looking for the shop one. I’ve never had any luck with gearwench xcor or the pin style universals. To much play and they break way easier than my old SK or Mac ones.

You can get a complete 1/4 set from GO for less that that Matco set. When I got them the complete kit was like $250. Been using them for 6 years with zero issues.

Flank drive plus combo wrenches.....hav had nice set of sk combo wrenches for 30 yrs....bought a set of flank drive a. Couple years ago....wish I'd of got em years ago....also snap on/bahco pliers....

Wright Grip for me. Just as good, if not even slightly better, for 1/3rd the price, and still made in USA.

I recommend the gray pneumatic 1/4 master impact socket set instead of getting the matco ones. I think they might even make the matco ones but regardless that set comes with everything you'd ever need for 1/4 and is about $350. The only other thing I bought was 1/4 deep impact sockets from GP since they weren't in the set but I don't use them as much as the shallows.

For the thermal imager they definitely don’t all use the same sensor. Look at the TopDon TC005. It has a wider temp range, higher sensitivity, faster frame rate, and higher resolution than the cheaper Flir or the SO. It makes the SO image look like a potato in comparison. It’s also less than 1/3 the price of the SO. Give one a try you won’t be disappointed.

What ratchet wrenches should I buy for flexhead? Tried gearwrench and not happy with their performance. Is snapon overpriced or are they really that good

I have the Snap On long reach flex head ratchet wrenches. You can tell the difference. I have Gearwrench and a set of Experts from MAC. The Experts are good but don’t compare to the SnapOn.

I have about 10 different brands of ratchets, most of them are made in USA. Out of all of them, I prefer the Snap-On the most. Yes, they are a little over priced, but you can get them for a "fair" price if you shop around.
