Kai sotto the best center for the NBA draft. He can shoot threes,monster blocker , a good passer and he has a high basketball IQ. 7'3 at 20 years old and shoot in both his left and right hands.

Diallo really caught a stray there. His lack of shooting was already factored into his high school recruiting ranking and I don't think anything he's done since then (he's 23 and looks like a rotation player who will have an 8-10 year career) is indicative of being 'exposed.' He's definitely mid-late first in a 2018 redraft
@dreamcatcha
@dreamcatcha 2 жыл бұрын
Yeah I don’t think they meant to say he’s a bad player by any means. Their point was more of he hurt his stock by going back to school. Which most players do, not all but the majority. He was projected as a mid first round player before returning and ended up mid second round because he went back.
@nolang1
@nolang1 2 жыл бұрын
@@dreamcatcha what are you talking about, he was in the exact same situation as Sharpe where he enrolled in the middle of the year at Kentucky with the idea of playing next year and was old enough to be draft eligible without playing a single college game. Diallo went into the draft as soon as he possibly could (without having played any college games), and they're talking about it like it helped him because actually playing would've resulted in him being 'exposed' in college, which is weird to say about someone who, in a larger number of games at the next level than what one could've played in even a four year college career, has looked like a legit NBA player.

@@nolang1 Diallo went back to school when he could have went into the draft, despite never playing. His stock was higher when he didn’t play at Kentucky. But instead he went back and was exposed for his lack of shooting. Still a solid role player with room to improve. But if shaedon sharpe goes back to school, he will probably not be drafted as high next year after playing. That’s what history says typically happens.

Chet or Jabari is the number one pick. Chet will go number one if he put on about 15 lbs and wouldn’t struggle much at the Pf position. I like Ivey a lot for a team like Detroit. And Jabari so far is the best prospect, at 6’10 he can really shoot it. Paolo is a Julius Randle type of player, would love to see him pass more and Aj Griffin is a stud
@pewpewTN

Nikola Jovic is the most interesting player to me right now. A true 6'10" Guard with shot creating ability, does well in the P&R. Has good catch & shoot ability as an off-ball guy. If he can get better with his left hand, he has some scary upside. He is really young, so we could see a lot of development early on.

Chet to me is too weak so not a dominant player. Jabari seems to shy away from contact but both are really good talents. Ivey to me is like Morant, Mitchell or D Wade in desire, and courage to take a game over. If any of them were in this draft they would go one. As a Piston fan, for our team, pulling for Ivey 1st, Jabari 2nd, then Holgrem 3rd however the picks fall.

Have you watched Chet? Do you see how he moves on defensive? Compare that to Bamba in college. Bamba relied on his length to defend in college and didn't move the way he needed. Chet moves the way you should, but then on top of that has length. Chet has a good motor. Bamba never has, not in college and especially not in the pros. This is a lazy take.

@@pewpewTN I'm rooting for Chet to have a gr8 NBA career. I hope he's the next big thing in the NBA. However, I feel the hype abt him is overrated. He's going top 3 based on his height. In H.S. and college he was the tallest kid on the court. In the NBA he'll face a 7 ft'r every game. If he does have a height advantage he'll be playing the stretch PF spot where he'll be regulated to taking 3 pt shots. If he shoots them in at a high percentage he'll be the next Lauri Markkanen, Kristap Portzingis, Davis Bertans type. Another 7 ft 3 pt shooter doing what any 6 ft'r can do (shoot 3's).
