Grigory Fazz I highly recommend reading the Republic Commando novel series. It is very well written start to finish and finally gives the closure you need after the game.

Won't ever be a FORCE UNLEASHED 3 because those events are no longer cannon. Everything now is cannon based.

AJ assassin use to play it everyday until the ps2 stopped working sadly but had all types of fun with the game

AJ assassin I recently started playing revenge of the sith for the first time on ps2, and i really like it, aside from the slightly meh Anakin voice performance. I love the force unleashed, and the revenge of the sith film, i think the lightsaber combat in ROTS is satisfying, (early force unleashed even) and getting to play as Anakin and actually kill jedi in the temple fills me with pitiful glee. Havent beaten it yet though. Battlefront 2 EA is my online star wars game though

I would highly recommend you read the novels that spawned off of the game. They were so good that, if given the choice between becoming a Jedi or Clone Commando, I really would've been hard pressed to choose.

If you have an Xbox then you can buy Kotor 1 Kotor 2 both OG Battlefronts and Republic Commando for $10 each. Microsoft is cashing in hard on nostalgia right now and it’s great. I think Jedi Academy is also on the list

Battle for Naboo was awesome, it’s also worth mentioning it was made by Factor 5 and was more less a sister game to the Rogue Squadron series.

legendary lunatic97 If you have a somewhat decent computer, you can get it on Steam. And the multiplayer community is still somewhat alive on it if you want some PvP goodness.

The Midichlorians were good too. They showed that no one can be a Jedi but those blessed in the force can. Something The Last Jedi took away by making it seem like everyone can be one. Just how our world is today.

And those explanations make plot holes and desrtoy concepts. Luke had literally second of lightsbear training and several hours of force training, but Anakin had years of training. One of the reasons OT was an interesting SF was beacause it combine fantesy (the Force) in a SF world, but in PM we find that is something fully genetical. What a way to ruin a gr8 concept. And how the heck the technology is farr more advanced in the prequels then the originals. And a boy can drive a naboo fighter even if he used just ground vehicles? Is not the same thing.

jorden s well i mean, it is a "space opera." lol but regardless, ROTS is one of the best SW films.(I personally think theyre all good. especially if you just take in the story) i will admit there was some stuff they coulda did better, or acted better. lol

The "Episode III" game actually uses the voice actors from the original "Clone Wars" series from 2005.

It boggles my mind that X-Wing Alliance has been shuffled away while X-Wing and TIE Fighter continue to receive accolades; it took everything great and fun about the original X-Wing and made just about every aspect better.

Star Wars Bounty Hunter was my CHILDHOOD. I spent countless days home from school sitting in front of the tv playing that game sometimes the same first few levels over and over just for fun. Good memories!

Lol a few of these are loved by all I don't see how they are underrated. Jedi Academy, Bounty Hunter, and Republic Commando are the main ones. Edit: Pod Racer as well haha.

I loved playing Star Wars Starfighter back then. But its sequel, Star Wars *Jedi* Starfighter was even better. Too bad it wasn't mentioned.

Oh I remember playing Republic Commando for the first time. I remember this certain mission where I had to rescue a Wookiee (I can't remember his name, let alone spell it), but I remember when I got to him there was a few enemy droids scattered around and a war droid right near us. When I freed the Wookiee he let out a huge roar, the war droid said "Backing down" and started to retreat, turning its fire from me to the Wookiee. The Wookiee then ran to the war droid and proceeded to dismember it limb from limb. To me it was such an iconic moment, like when you found out who you truly were in KOTOR, it sent ripples up and down my back. Awesome moment.

The Protagonist Force Unleashed 1 is the superior of the 2 with a better and longer story that actually makes sense rather than being a convoluted headache like Force Unleashed 2

Man I forgot about so many of these, but I definitely spent a few good hours playing some of them in the early 2000s. Battle for Naboo in particular! The straight-up Episode I game was also pretty good; I remember plying the streets of theed and shooting those big tiger shark things in the planet’s ponds and rivers. The bounty hunter game was also pretty special. That’s the game that made me want my own bounty hunter ship. Plus it was the first ever game I played on my PS2, which was also the first console I ever got (It was a Christmas gift). I loved the nights my parents would leave me home alone to immerse myself in Fett’s story.

I played the heck out of Star Wars: Episode 1 Racer. Multpile save files, unlocked every character except Bozie Barranta (his track is the hardest to beat), and bought most available upgrades for each podracer. Anakin and Mars Guo were my go-to racers early on, before upgrading to Bullseye Navoir and eventually Slide Paramita.

I have so many memories with Republic Commando! One of the best games on my original Xbox. I wish that, if there is a chance out there, that RC will get a sequel it deserves or at least an HD remake.

My Opinion, 2 games that were missing that I had a Ton of Fun Playing were ST: Rebellion (ST: Supremacy in Europe) and ST: Empires at War (And Expansion) They were fun and had all the cool weapons, heroes and vehicles from the Star Wars Universe (Legends)

Especially Rebellion.. It had a lack of Graphics, but the game was so large and was made like 20+ years ago.. But it was Fun to Hunt down the Rebel Scum, And have like 20 Death Stars!!! You may Fire when ready. (Tarkin's Voice)

I remember a game where you piloted an assortment of vehicles during the time of the rebellion and empire and could go into a splitscreen mode. It was back on the either the ps1 or n64. Unfortunately I can't remember all too much about it.

Maybe I'm not familiar with the games critical history, but I don't remember ever hearing about any kind of hate for SotE. The game was fine for its time, but third person shooters didn't start getting really fine tuned until Resident Evil 4 which came out 9 years after SotE.

I liked the video game (and the book) but I agree with haustyl12 - it is not underrated. In fact at one time it was easily the most marketed and well known piece of the expanded universe.

I am absolutely SHOCKED that the narrator did NOT mention the Rogue Squadron trilogy when he talked about Battle For Naboo. That game was a direct spin-off of the first Rogue Squadron game (it was made by the same companies, LucasArts and Factor 5)!

Star wars racer finally re-released on GOG this week. And it's running fine on Windows 10. It's one of the best Star wars games ever made and I'm happy to report that it still plays very well indeed. Go buy it and enjoy.

thank you for putting "Bounty Hunter" on this list! I LOVED THAT GAME, I loved it so much that I have all cut scenes memorized! that's how much I've played it! since Jango Fett is my favorite secondary character in the franchise lol! it's most certainly a game worthy of recognition!

Outstanding list!! Dark Forces was my into to star wars and I loved it. I still play it today. It's obviously dated but it's still amazing. X-Wing was amazing. Revenge of the Sith had good game play. Jedi Outcast was great. Jedi Academy was amazing. Racer was awesome.

+Zach Stevens That's how I started out too. Bounty Hutner was a weird game for me, but after I learned you can use the D-pad to switch weapons and L to target, I managed to beat the game easily.

star wars: clone wars was so good... I remember playing that with my friends. the ground ship combat was very underrated in the star wars universe and very fun esp pvp and arena modes...

Most of these games were my childhood. ( and still are) I was surprised to not see honorable mentions. Yet games as Jedi Outcast, Dark Forces II, Star Wars Galactic Battlegrounds, Empire at War (Forces of Corruption)The Original Battlefronts, X-Wing vs Tie Fighter (Balance of Power) Rogue Squadron (I,II,III) Theres dozens of Star Wars games produced by LucasArts that I will never forget. I'm yet to find a remarkable SW game that has come after Disney Empire.

I love Jedi Academy. When I first played it had had wanted one thing, a game where I got to run around and fight "bad guys" with a lightsaber. And Academy delivered beautifully. With a barebones plot really just used more as an excuse to tour the Galaxy far far away it does not burden the player with overly complex story. It's battle system with lightsabers is still fun to me and the last group of missions where you can duel wield or use a double bladed saber is where it really shines. Some of the finishing moves when fighting Ragnos cultists are just cool and you feel like a badass when you take them down by knocking the lightsaber out of their hand and stabbing them in the heart.

There is 1 game that I missed in the list. It was a game for the Xbox 360. The Xbox was a limited edition Star Wars Xbox. With a R2-D2 Xbox and a C3PO controller. With the Xbox there was a game. I don’t know the name of the game. But it was a very very good game and really underrated.

The star wars pod racing game was so so so fun I put many many hours into this game it's like the most memorable thing about the prequels for me

Delta 38: _"You lizards need to learn that I'm a lot scarier than you are!"_ I miss Republic Commando. Fighting Separatist forces in fast-paced combat without even using one lightsaber was unique and fun, to say the least. I also had fun hearing fellow squadmates crack jokes at each other outside of battle.

Yes! Republic Commando is awesome. However, I was more pleasantly surprised to even see Battle for Naboo on this list. That was one of the rare games, that was better than the movie of which it was based off. It wasn’t just a great movie game, it was a great game, (period). I was born in ‘87 so this game came out during my prime gaming years. The medals and unlockables had me playing through this game on nearly a weekly basis for a while. You’d have to play through it with the “explorer” mentality, as there were many hidden secrets, and then play through it again with a “speedster” mentality. The bonus levels were fun and challenging. If anyone reading this has an N64 and has never played this game, do yourself a favor and get it off of eBay or Amazon. It’s worth it!

You need to do a top 10 underrated PS1 games and include on that list, Timeshock! Pro Pinball. I don't know if you guys have played it, but it has the best soundtrack of all time for any video game I've ever played. A company called Empire Interactive made 4 Pro Pinball games for the PS1, The Web, Timeshock!, Big Race USA and Fantastic Journey. Please check out Timeshock! for yourselves.

I'm glad to see a few of them on here. Republic Commando was fucking awesome and I wish it would have continued. Episode 1 Racer, I want that to be remade, or a new game made around podracing with similar mechanics, it was perfect. It was great playing local multiplayer, online multiplayer would be great. They had a lot of racers to choose, each with pros and cons (Some being faster but worse handling, or stronger allowing it to bully other racers). Really want some more Star Wars racing games.

It was the first game in the Dark Forces/Jedi Knight series. Most of them revolve around Katarn and his shenanigans. Last I checked, the whole series can be found on Steam. Definitely worth checking out.

Loved Dark Forces! Always hated doing the third mission (Anoat) b/c the dianogas scared the shit out of me. Plus, it had great hidden Easter eggs within it (the prisoner Ewok and Jabba's jacuzzi).

Another underatted star wars game in my opinion is "Apprentice of the force" for the gba. Its nothing too special. But its got great looking animation, good graphics and level design staying true to the movies, and plenty of enemies to blast away with your blaster, lightsaber, and force powers.
