@@FlyIlliniFly I played that game for years "we just got to get healthy." They have also lost to BYU, Texas Tech, Kansas State, Iowa State, West Virginia, and UCF. Sure some of those are really not bad losses, but some are and there are a lot. I'm personally of the opinion that once we're past the mid-way point of the season, the only thing that matters is the record and strength of opponents. I'm not saying that they aren't a good team. They clearly are. They could even win it all and have a MUCH higher chance of doing so than BYU, but they still gotta earn the seeding/ranking.

It kind of reminds me of the Pac 12. Any team can win on any given night. It's impossible to tell how good or bad a team is.

I'm pretty biased, having been to a handful of BYU home games this season. It really, really feels like there is something going on with the refs. I hope I'm just super-biased and wrong, because the calls have seemed one-sided even in wins like UCF and - to a lesser degree - Baylor. One game in particular felt like the refs brought the opposing team back into the game in the second half... I'm pretty sure it was Kansas St.

They have one more Final Four (5) than Arizona, the same amount as Georgetown and Illinois, and one less than UConn, Villanova, Syracuse, and Michigan. With two Final Fours since 2000. They also hold the record for the most all-time NCAA Tournament wins without a Championship. Their fans come out of the woodwork when they are good.

Believe it or not both teams shot roughly 39% from the floor. The difference was threes.

@@_kuzz_almost all of BYUs attempts are from three they’re the highest attempting team in the league, so even tho they had the same percentage technically byu was shooting way better, they always have a low percentage overall even tho they’re one of the best shooting teams

@@kylewade8704 Valid point which is essentially what I was getting at in the previous comment. Kansas got the same percentage of shots to go down and took three more shots than BYU - the difference was the type of shots they were making and taking.

Yea that's his 18th home lost. As a kansas fan he did a bad job of constructing this team and he knows it. I hope to win one game in March and call it a season.

I was shocked when they showed that. He lost just once at home when he was with us in his 3 years in Champaign. Self at home is a cheatcode but not tonight.
