While I'm glad Howard the Duck is not number one I still think Fan4stic is worse than it. Howard had a tonal problem, Fan4stic has problems with everything. To me it's the Catwoman of Marvel movies.

Son of the Mask is not only the worst comic book movie, but it's one of the worst movies ever. It was a dark time for comic book movies before the Nolan's Batman trilogy and the MCU.

I own the top two movies on this list, and watched them when growing up, and I wondered why I didn't like movies for awhile.

I genuinely appreciate that you didn't go for the low-hanging fruit and put Batman and Robin at number 1 or even on the list. Honestly, the films that did get on here are much harder watches and the number 1 pick definitely deserves it.

Honestly I have to agree COMPLETELY with this ENTIRE list. Considering that Green Lantern was the PRIMARY reason why the DC movies as of late have been dark a gritty and nothing like their Marvel counter parts. After Green Lantern bombed in theaters, the higher ups at Warner decided on the rule of no funny allowed in ANY of their DC movies (however Flash might be changing that,... but I wouldn't bank on it.) However I would like to know where that Bill Murray scene at the end of 11 came from. That right there was funny just taking us out, considering that Murray did two Garfield movies, both of which completely sucked. Also on another note dealing with the last Fantastic 4 movie that they made, Marvel was actually set to buy the rights back and make a movie of their own. However Fox at the time green lit another FF movie and then shelved it right after. However now that Disney owns Fox (at least the movie and television side, sadly not the news side), it means that FF and all of their mutants will be heading home to Marvel. Are there any plans to make another FF movie, currently I have to say that I honestly don't know.

Batman Forever/ and Robin should of been listed, funny how some didn't want to do a Batman movie because they were thinking of the campy tv Batman, but then they ended up doing it anyway. Also surprised the other two marvel movies from the 80's didn't make the list, Punisher and Fantastic 4.

Most MCU movies follow the same pattern- Hero has everything he/she could possibly want, he/she loses it all, they go on a path of moral wisdom then they find the strength within them to beat the villain. They only movies that deviate from this is Avengers 1 and 2 and Guardians of the Galaxy 1 and 2. They've become predictable, and if Infinity War doesn't change this then, well...
