We already have a Pinnochio made by Disney. However, we didn't have a Pinnochio by Shadow Machine Animation Studios, and that's why I enjoyed it much more.

One time when mom and I went to see Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1, we heard a baby cry twice during the horror scenes. Like seriously you mean to tell me that you were too lazy to find a babysitter to watch your newborn?

If I had a nickel for every old horror movie I liked who had a remake, in which they changed the gender of the villain, a evil cult leader, to female and ultimately flopped, I've have two nickels. Which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice (children of the corn and Wickerman)

Honestly, Ant-Man & the Wasp: Quantumania and Shazam: Fury of the Gods are just okay, but they got better Marvel and DC Comics movies out there than them. BTW, I agree with the rest of the worst movies of 2023.

'Ghosted' reminds me of some forgotten mediocre '80s comedy films. They starred a usually reliable cast but fell flat, and time was kind enough to let them sink away. The shame is that this was Dexter Fletcher's first miss as a director. If you want a rom-com spy action film, just go with 'Knight and Day'. Or even better, 'True Lies'.

Outside of the CGI for Quantumania, at least it was by far the easiest to rewatch. I’ve seen this like 5 times, and it seems like sometimes, it’s not that bad

65 was a bit confusing with it’s mixture but it’s still a fun movie if you like both dinosaurs and space. And agree Quantumania and Fury Of The Gods aren’t among the best Marvel/DC movies but they’re definitely not as bad as some people think either

Poor Charlie Day, and right after the success of "The Super Mario Bros. Movie" where he killed it as my childhood crush. But, "Blood and Honey", "Knights of the Zodiac", and "You People" being on this list are well-deserved. I pray to the forces that be that the former is quickly buried and forgotten about so my mom never finds out about its existence. It would break her heart.

"Ghosted" might have been more plausible had the main couple been established as going out for some time, a la "Mr and Mrs Smith", as opposed to only knowing each other for two days, at best. It's ridiculous that Evans would follow De Armas to London, when he knows next to nothing about her. Also, her wig was very distracting, she could have easily donned her natural locks, which she does after the time skip.

Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantamania and Shazam: Fury Of The Gods don't have bad audience scores on their rotten tomatoes pages, so they should not qualify for this list, as bad critical scores and positive audience scores would have them classify as mixed, average or divisive films, NOT bad films. Numbers matter, Mojo (except when they don't like with EVERY ENTRY ON YOUR GOOD MOVIES WITH BAD ROTTEN TOMATOES LISTS!).

If just going by box office I think there are going to be a lot of disapointments this year. Not necesarily because of bad movies but with prices at grocery stores and gas, there is a lot of people that have lost there disposable income to pay $15 dollars a pop to pay to see a movie.

I did have some issues with Quantumania, mainly with Janet’s reasoning for why she didn’t tell everyone about Kang, the characterization of MODOK (especially when the 2020 Avengers game showed that he can be a villain who can be taken seriously), & the lack of characters from the previous movies (especially Luis), making it feel too much of a tonal shift from the last 2.

The premise in Love Again actually does "make sense technologically", I myself have had experience dealing with a phone number that was reassigned too soon. Typically there's a waiting period before a number can be given out again, but like anything mistakes can occur. It's been over a decade and I still get phone calls from debt collectors and the like looking for the person who previously had the number.

That message thing is not creepy in ALL cultures. Lonely people do connect in interesting ways. The more westernized places become, the more difficult it is to interact with other humans. In the 90s, the way to talk to a girl in some countries is to approach them publicly and try to make a good impression till they give u their email or contact info.

I did not expect seeing “Shazam: Fury Of The Gods”, “Ant-Man And The Wasp: Quantumania” and “Ghosted” to be on this list. ”Winnie-The-Pooh: Blood And Honey” being on the list made sense, but the movie wasn’t intended to be taken seriously. But yeah. That movie was written a bit poorly.

Zodiac is likely the most difficult manga to adapt into live-action. Especially the armor, they work on paper but I doubt there was anyway to make them look good and still feel like the manga.

Rally Road Racers - Did we really need ANOTHER animated underdog movie for kids about a young nobody with big dreams who competes in a sporting event and defeats the selfish champion villain to save his home, and wins with the power of love, friendship, and comedy instead of following the traditional rules of the sport??? This is like, the 5th one of these in the last 3 years that follows the EXACT same plot next to Rumble, Luca, Space Jam 2 and the "Rumble For Ragnarok" episode of DuckTales

I was hoping Winnie the pooh blood and honey would be a sort of parody of comedy and horror like Scary movie or The Mean One which is a horror parody of The Grinch and if I was the director of Winnie the pooh blood and honey I'd try to make it more hilarious than scary and could have referenced more winnie the pooh related subjects just for laughs.

You should. WatchMojo is bashing it because it's "just a slasher film," but to me that's better than what they did to Freddy Krueger/Halloween/Child's Play/Scream reboots. It's a classic, stupid slasher flick with shameless nudity and brutal deaths, not watered down by dumb agendas.

In Ghosted, Ana de Armas is the tough one between her and Chris Evans and it's UNCONVINCING. It seems like Paloma is an exception because she's no action girl. If the character was played by ScarJo, it would've been more convincing but that only solves 1 problem the movie has and it has plethora.

I knew Winne the Pooh: Blood and Honey was going to A BIG, FAT FLOP the moment I heard about it. Thank God I didn’t bother watching it.

Shazam Fury Of The Gods has less jokes than the original but the jokes landed harder. Especially when Darla mixed MNMs with Die Hard.

Yea I thought it was really funny, had some good parts, but overall it was pretty formulaic, not great. It's definitely not bad though.

@@markzuckergecko621 absolutely! I’m just mad they did Darren the way he did in terms of the design because the fact that he looked liked a computerized version of Eggman and Lord Farquaad didn’t sit right with me.

@@alexsandriabastow oh Jesus, yes, that was disturbing and hilarious at the same time, that was definitely one of the weirdest MCU characters. I didn't mind it, I took it as them really digging their heels into it being more of a funny movie than a serious movie. My biggest problem was how they had Bill Murray in it for all of 5 minutes, and that was it, they never circled back around to that. I expected his character to be more important.

@@markzuckergecko621 Honestly, I agree with that especially with the fact all he did was attempt to kidnap Ant-Man’s daughter in one of the movies and then she actually did get kidnapped in the new movie. In terms of Bill Murray (Lord Krylar), why did you think he should have more screentime if you don’t mind me asking? But overall, yes it was very disturbing and weird, a little funny but mainly more the other two.

I have just one complaint about this list. Fury of the Gods shouldn’t be here. It’s actually a great movie full of charming performances (especially from the amazing Zachary Levi, a great person who I had the pleasure to meet), entertaining story, great chemistry between the heroes, the new cast members are a nice addition and the action is very fun to watch. As someone who adored the first film so much, i was very satisfied and worth the 4-year wait. It makes me sad that it had terrible box-office results and the unnecessary hate because they absolutely don’t deserve this. Hope James Gunn doesn’t screw up and approves a third film with this amazing cast because they deserve all of the success in the world. SHAZAM! TILL THE END! ⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️

Regarding disconnected phone numbers not being in use. They are reassigned eventually. My daughter changed her number & although I had the new number I'd completely forgotten to delete the old number from my contacts. A year later I accidently sent a typical mother-daughter message to the old number & someone else sent a message back saying; "Who is this?". So, techinically . . .

the presence of Kinights of the Zodiac here really hurts me. I mean, WatchMojo it is 100% right in put in the list, but Saint Seiya was a huge part of my childhood and I love the IP. But yeah... They made all the mistakes they could have made it.... Saint Seiya has such a amazing storie but the decided to ignore most of it... They gave it the Dragon Ball Evolution treatment... I cannot understand why, why did they tought it was gonna work?

Had a feeling that would be number. When I first saw the trailer, I’m like “oh god, are you serious, is this for real” but thanks to KZfaqrs showing it. I hate it and I’m glad I didn’t watch it. Big huge m************ finger to the movie. Nothing ruins my childhood!

Well the worst movie in 2023 was that Teen Wolf the movie from paramount+ It was crap and they should have never made that they should have left it alone the MTV show was great but to bring it back and screw it up like that was just crap.
