the first two clips are the only two times i've ever seen her smash her racquet like that, and you can hear how surprised the commentator was on the first one. most of the others were pretty tame. but yeah, i was surprised, too

I knew it would either be Poots or Serena for #1. I think they practice breaking racquets in the gym as part of their workout routine. Had to laugh at Simona. She whacks each racquet multiple times, but hasn't the strength to break it. Serena gives it one whack and it's in a dozen pieces.

I'm looking for a video where a father throws a tantrum during a highly competitive tennis match (possibly Wimbledon), and he sits on the ground and buries his head in his hands. His toddler daughter is sent down from the stand to comfort him, but he keeps shaking his head "no" and refusing her comfort, even though she keeps trying. Unfortunately, I don't remember the name of the tennis player, but I think that's worse than breaking a racket.

Throwing a racquet can generate several trips: one to the hospital for someone (like a spectator, linesperson, ball person or your opponent) and a date with a judge for a lawsuit.

Serena Williams, being physically stronger than most of the WTA players, the anger outbursts shows as dominant as you can guess. But for me Wozniacki, Halep has some of the aggressive nervous breakdown ever

Poor rackets becoming victims of millionnaire's egos. These players need a psycho therapist in their teams! This is why I admire the likes of Jessica Pegula, Iga Swiatek, Elena Rybakina, Anet Kontaveit to name a few who always try to keep cool in big matches!

Only two of the top 10 were familiar, to me, as having bad tempers on the court, Williams and Zvonereva. Had no idea about Muguruza or Giorgi or Azarenka. I kinda like it. I musta seen Halep a bunch of times. Never saw her lose her temper. Wozniacki, also. Never saw her lose it.

Putintseva's Count Is Off By Two. At 13:30 to 13:32, We Can Hear Her Smashing Her Racket Three Times In Total But The Count Only Increased By One. So The Total Should Be Thirty-Three.

AKA Top 10 WTA tennis players who go through a lot of rackets. I knew Zvonereva and Serena William were going to be on the list. She's no longer active, but one of the worst as Dinara Safina. Like her brother Marat, she could have been really great if her emotions hadn't gotten the better of her in high-pressure situations.

I wonder why they did not add these video clips in the King Richard movie, when it portrayed Serena as a respectful and calm tennis player. The movie even suggested that Arancha Sanchez Vicario cheated in a tour match when she faked an injury timeout to beat Serena. I guess that's Hollywood.

I don't mind when they nearly break their own wrists by hitting the ground 4 times. It's the ones who THROW the racket that I can't stand. You can't put ballboys/girls & the front row crowd in danger.
