I personally lover the Sac de Jour ! I wish it will be my first luxury bag. It has a lot of space for the baby size, classic and classy, versatile and structured so really durable 😄 I knew that the Lou Lou will be the first haha and I really enjoy the Solférino, I m going to make some research about it :) Thanks Mel for your videos that are so helpful and well made ☺️

I love YSL, I think it’s so underrated, their designs and bags are so timeless and I think they’re as iconic as Chanel. They also have a great price point. The toy Lou is on my wish list. I have the envelope on chain and it’s a perfect evening bag but I also love to dress it was a casual pair of jeans and vintage band tee. 🖤🖤

Chanel is rapidly pricing itself out of the market, especially when you consider they aren’t improving the quality. YSL has a top notch quality product, and I can see YSL easily stepping in to replace YSL as the go to every day bag for a lot of people.

YSL is SO underrated. It’s one of my favorite designers in terms of aesthetic and functionality. I am 100% not surprised that the Lou Lou came in first! That’s probably my most favorite YSL bag that I own with the College being my second favorite. I’m hoping people don’t catch on to how amazing YSL is because their price point is so great!

Saint Laurent Small Lou Lou was my first luxury bag. Got it just as the pandemic started, used it almost daily since then. Still looks beautiful! It made me fall in love with Saint Laurent, it was such a good choice as a first. I agree with this list definitely! I ordered the Becky double zip instead of the mini camera, really wanted something smaller than my Lou Lou and more casual. So excited to receive it

I love the Lou belt bag…I bought it in two colors and it is extremely versatile: can wear it as a belt bag, across your chest (or back), a shorter cross body or add a chain and wear it as a longer cross body. There aren’t many videos on it, but it can hold a surprising amount (card holder, key pouch, phone, sanitizer, lipstick)

Thanks to your video trying-on the Nikki I bought the black on black medium and it is the perfect workbag for me because it is understated yet durable as crazy. I work in a semi-casual environment so its great and during covid times I didn't feel loud carrying it around, plus it is super easy to sanitize. I have used it daily for the whole covid duration and haven't put it down at all. 👍

Yes I love YSL handbag too. Had the uptown clutch. Will add more. Bought the Toy Loulou but return it. Is is very beautiful but too small for my liking. Glad that you showed us the Mini Puffer Lou. Thought of getting that but not sure why i was told my My Teresa's personnel replied to my email question that iPhone 12 for the leather is a snug fit. I thought is that is a puffer, the space should be not as rigid. Will have to check that again. Thanks for sharing.

I only have two YSL. I have is toy loulou in Light Natural color and Small Loulou in black on black and the quality is really nice for the price! I am actually using the toy loulou quite a bit this summer more than last year, she is my go to for vacation! Small enough to slip in my carry on and also fits well in the hotel safe!

I wasn’t surprised at all. The top few have been talked about as many people’s favourites for years, even if they aren’t the latest it bag anymore. That is always a good sign when I am thinking of buying a bag. My favourite is the College. I hadn’t seriously considered it only because it has such a short strap and can’t be worn crossbody and that is a show stopper for me. But I noticed recently that you can buy a longer replacement strap on eBay and that changes everything. So it’s back on my wish list again.

Yes I agree I love my Lou Lou! I have the small loulou which is a great size and you can get the convertible chain strap but I totally get the toy loulou is a great price point and I had to wait a bit longer to buy the small!

Love the video! My absolute favorite is the mini puffer; since I own the all black and the beige, I hardly use my other Chanel and LV bags anymore. It is so light, soft and easy to access while wearing it cross body. I also believe it transfers great from day to evening as you can make the handle a bit shorter

I wasn’t surprised at all. I knew 100% Lou Lou was #1. That’s my favorite YSL bag for sure. I also love the YSL envelope.

I bought the number one pick in between lockdowns as my very first luxury bag in medium black. Was my first brand new bag actually. Haven’t had a chance to wear it out yet. As soon as lockdown ends!

Loved this video idea!! I agree with the list to a point but i was shocked that the kate bag wasnt higher! Love the envelope range too!! I would love to see this done in different brands too if you have the chance!! For example, LV, Dior, Chanel etc. Take care xx

Totally agree with the ranking but for me still the best ysl bag for sure is the Sac de Jour it is a really good alternative for the sellier birkin. And it is a good design that doesn't look like a straight birkin copycat.

The fact that the SDJ has been around for years is a testament to its classic and universal appeal. Understated, simple and timeless. Absolutely it can be a great alternative to the Sellier Birkin. Thanks so much for watching x

My only issue with the SDJ is the weight. I found it to be too heavy to carry all day. I still lament selling it but now that the Sunset, College and Cassandra have come out, it gives me lighter options.

I have black small loulou and white mini lou camera bag. Those 2 are so durable and work during rainy/snowy days. They are very versatile bags, goes from day to night. I'm thinking of buying few more ysl pieces, but there is so many styles i love and i don't wanna buy more than 14 designer bags over all, i have 7 already 😅

@@MelinMelbourne oh my goodness I’m so shocked you replied. I have been going back and forth between Envelope chain wallet, Kate, Niki and the College! I am leaning towards the kate or envelope chain wallet but am still waiting for Syd lockdown to end to go instore to try the bags, I’m only 5ft tall so would love to be able to wear it both shoulder and crossbody, I find crossbody they might be too long on me… : ( Ps, loved your live show with Kat & Amy the other week!

Hi Mel! Amazing video! I completely agree on the first place, the Loulou bag is my favorite YSL bag, but in second place I would have put the leather puffer bag and in third place the tote bag rive gauche in animalier print, I like it very much. My favorite colour is that one of your sunset bag, is it called "poison red"? it's fantastic, I would like a puffer bag of that colour. Do you know the YSL "Miles bag"? I think it is from a couple of years ago, I saw that it is on sale at a very discounted price, what do you think?

Ahhhhh!!!! I just happen to buy the number 1 bag! Soooo glad I bought it. And I agree I could just buy a chain to make it look less casual lol at the store they all told me it was “casual” because of the leather strap, but let’s be real, ANY YSL bag is not casual, it’s designer YSL not target lol.

I have the Sunset satchel with the top handle and it's my absolute favorite. Timeless, durable and not as common as some other YSL bags. My next purchase will be the quilted Becky wallet on chain, which I think is the most underrated bag of all. It's super soft, extremely elegant and can fit a tonne. I also love the Le Carre bag, especially in mustard and opyum red. It doesn't scream "YSL" or "designer bag", but you can see that the quality is amazing. It reminds me of the Celine box bag, so I'm just a bit nervous that it will scratch easily. I have also been eyeing the Uptown chain wallet in the emerald green watersnake/ayers material, but it might be too small for me. I haven't seen it in person yet, but I love the color.

Good memory! I had people vote for their wishlist bag then ranked 10 best and 10 lowest ranked. It was so interesting. Maybe I should do a poll for fave LV or dior bag? Xx
