I have got myself a 2016 X1 28i, but when closing or opening the car my mirrors do not fold. Does anyone of you know how to fix this? Otherwise, what package should I have ordered to get the folded mirrors when opening/closing? I do have a button in the door to let the mirrors fold, but still they do not fold when closing or opening the car

Pieter-Bas van der Linden There is no particular option that is required. All you need to do is hold the lock button on the key fob for two-three seconds and the mirrors will fold. Then, when you unlock the car, they will automatically unfold. Enjoy your car!

Question: Which button did you push to get the rear sunroof to open? Thank you in advance. Great car. I just go one for my daughter. She is over the moon.

TheSib The rear sunroof actually does not open. It is a fixed piece of glass. If you are talking about how I opened the first part of the sunroof completely, then you need to long press the button once. It will open about 75%. After that, you again need to long press the button and that will make the front part completely open. Hope you find this helpful! P.S. : congrats to your daughter! I hope she likes it.

Just picked up a used 2013 x1 35i with full service records (only serviced at dealers) for only 10k. 3-4 grand cheaper than Toyota’s and Honda’s with similar service records and far less features

I believe there should be a button up on the roof to turn the lights on/off as you wish

What gas is recommended?

You should use 91 or 93 octane to get the best performance and better gas mileage.

I’m sorry for the late response, but no I usually take to the garage to get it serviced. I’ve been doing it once a year
