I absolutely love this video. As a an older BMX rider even though I am not very good, I want to make sure I put high quality parts on my bike as I am willing to put money into it. Please keep making these videos.

I run the Primo Stevie Churchill cranks, they are very high quality, very lite and super strong, I'm 210lbs & these cranks have a nice platform to land on. My other bike is a Sunday Soundwave with Odyssey Thunderbolt cranks they are just slightly less beefier than the Churchill cranks but are also very nice. I'd recommend both cranks to anyone.

Hey Douglas..good to finally be able to say hey, it's 0245. I just built a little bike off of aluminum "horizon" since I'm such a short little $#@!. I used the shadows..even with little feet no problems hang over. And those stolen are some ugly heavy fargain cranks. I put back in my 80's 105's from my master. Still awesome after 30 years. hey man thanks for posting the video I just ordered some of them Stevie Churchhill Kranks on Dan’s comp their website it’s kind of hard to navigate right now no big deal but I’m stoked to be running these going forward coming off of some odyssey cranks that broke by the spindle no big deal the color way is kind of unique and I am keeping an open mind about your review of them and what was the right fit for me long-term …. thank you thank you thank you they should combo very nicely with the cinema parts that I run mostly.

When i was choosing cranks... my options were; odyssey thunderbolt, eclat tibia and primo superbite. I wonder why tibia and superbite aren't included?

There is simply no easier crank to install than Thunderbolts. All 48 spliners are an ass pain.

Your Colony Venator cons are irrelevant. Pedal bosses... you cant see them they are on the back. As is the Colony logo, while it is nasty looking its also on the backside of the arm so will not rub off. Light, strong, actually ankle friendly, great straight forward design.

i just got a set of Stolen Mob v4 (8 point instead of spline) for $60 to replace the original 1 piece cranks on my 2001 Haro. i like the look of them, they seem to be good quality. i dont have much riding on them yet. but for $60, im happy with them so far.

for who dont know most sprockets come with 2 adapters for 19 or 22mm spindles. the hole in the sprocket without any adapter will fit 24mm spindles. so most likely no u wont have to get a new sprocket. unless you have some special profile spline drive or odyssey hex drive an then upgrade

I’ve seen so many broken thunderbolt cranks. Those should be on the worst crank list. Fit cranks are amazing, same with the akimbo. I rode some stolen talon cranks for about a year and surprisingly never had an issue. I know a lot of people who ride calibers and like them a lot.

You forgot to mention the Odyssey calibers come with a bottom bracket. At least mine did

“Top 12 cranks”? This was not a top 12! I get you had an issue with your profile crank but your profile crank has a lifetime warranty! The profile crank is definitely one of the best cranks on the market and has been one of if not the best for tears. Most top cranks out today are based on the profile spindle design so for this reason I’m actually amazed you didn’t include the profile cranks but yet included a RANT crank? How is a RANT crank top 12? I would have put the Sunday crank in before that if it was in there based on price.
