This is a compilation of the 12 top #fastest #production #supercars . Neither tuner monsters nor in a single copy cars were included - only serial production cars that you can meet on a public road. Full specs and natural exhaust sounds included.
In order for the speed record for production cars to be counted by the Guinness Book of Records, the car must travel in two directions and count at least 30 copies. "Unconfirmed" top speed in video - is manufacturer's data.

I prefer the full aero over the Absolut. It just looks more aggressive and that bonkers rear wing looks awesome. Plus it'll be fast enough, not sure I need to go the full 500km/h+.

Koenigsegg and Bugatti (VW back then) are also the only companies which already showed that they can go hypercar speed. The other companies only calculated it virtually or simply faked it.

Reading each spec, it came to mind Gordon Murray's comments on how incredibly heavy some of these "hypercars" were, with quite a few of them weighing nearly two tonns. Of course some weighing around 1,250 kg, which is quite 'acceptable' considering the enormous engine displacement. These depositions from Murray were given while he introduced his GMA T.50 that weighs only 900 kg. And Murray knows one or two two things about designing fast cars...

And the high speed cars from the 1930's have been forgotten. Rudolph Carracciola drove along the Darmstadt autobahn in a Mercedes at 269 mph (approximately) in 1938. This car was built for racing, but due to them having to be driven to the track, then driven back on public roads, one can technically call them a limited production car.

@@TopBoxy the road where Rudolph Carracciola drove this car is actually a public road. It had similar suspension to the road cars of the time. During this period, cars were getting faster. The speed increase was not the problem. Main issue was the tyres

Most of the cars have unconfirmed speed record, because in order to validify a speed record, a car should run both the opposite direction and get its average from starting to stopping.

Not quite right. They should do a flying distance - typically a mile - in both directions, within a small time period. There are fixed rules for outright world speed records, but not for these types of cars. If you averaged from start to stop, you'd get a pretty low number.

( had to reformulate a bit since my keyboard has lost a few letters:)

SSC is not near a homologated production car, it runs non compliant emissions, safety etc etc, the car is as pointless as an funny car dragster, neither could get licens-plates in Europe, and the quality of the build is questionable at best. The Agera is a fully homologated car driven to the record run in Nevada by the customer who lent it over to mr "Egg" and the owner drove on the same tires the next 2 years, seen often on youtube at car meets.

Well, the regulations were the same for all manufacturers for the time, and yet no one made a faster car. That CZinger is a work of digital art, it just needs more AI body design incorporation. Can't wait to see how it handles a few tracks. I would like the T.50 more if it didn't have such a gimmick sticking out the back, more like the T.33. Truly a shame what happened to the top-speed version of the Tuatara but I like the looks on the downforce version better. The Venom F5 seems the most fun and raw after watching the test drive. But I pretty much fast-forward during the Bugattis, more single-minded in design than Pagani, not knocking it but would like to see something new. I almost hope Koenigsegg takes the record though because of their bad luck at the unmentionable Ring and narrow miss of maybe making the Holy Trinity the Holy Tetralogy.

Absolutely amazing cars, no doubt about that! But driving my old 2019 GT3 thru the mountains of North Carolina, with 6 manual gears...and that wonderful sound it makes in the tunnels, never gets old. It's the touring model, all leather, just like my first 911S in 1972. I love it!

Here is what I would love to see. Put all of these cars together on the track (Suzuka, Spa, Silverstone?) In the hands of capable race car drivers, and set them loose for, let's say, a 40 lap race. Maybe throw in the pot a Pagani Huyara, the GMA T.50 and a couple more cars of the same caliber. My issue is, yes, they are incredibly fast on a straight line, but how do they mix up on a racetrack for several laps?

I am rooting for koening..... just on technical grounds... he ditched the weight of the batteries for 3 cylinders generating an incredible amount of hp .... with this formula, he is a long way from max power ... I know ... he said this is the last one he will build .... but ... the power to weight ratio is wonderful ...

According to me, Jesko Absolut is faster than Tuatara Because, Tuatara's maximum top speed is achieved to be 331 mph, whereas, Jesko Absolut's top speed is achieved to be 350 mph! (in right conditions). Otherwise, it's top speed is also achieved to be the same, 331 mph

The Jesko Absolut is a "one-off" so koenigsegg produce it for beat ass to Bugatti... And Bugatti Super Sport 300+ is not a production car but it is one off too.. SSC tuarara never going over 490 kph. It is a one off car too and if you read everywhere they write SSC Tuatara never passed over 490kph

The street cars will have the entire test car file, and the jesko has never been tested and everyone treats it like The fastest in the world. What's strange since even after a long time of announcement, they couldn't show a test that validates their speed. I look forward to it.

I agree that these vehicles are supreme!! But what ever speed they are claiming is possible on normal roads?? How many roads are suitable in the world for such supreme machines?? When they are running with 300-400-500 km / hr speed, how much time the car can be on track or road? Fuel would required to fill in, as these vehicles are performance based not milage based!!! These vehicles are best technology demonstrator, but not much practical in day today life, While making above stmt, I have considered only 1 parameter and that is speed 😊🙏 As this video is based on the same only!!!

I respect Koenigsegg and other hypercar manufacturers, but the history of the cars is also very important to me. If I had the money I would prefer a Mclaren 720S Spider...it's not as fast as the the other cars here but it has that certain something....
