I love how the guard gets looked at like he should've yelled for the horse to "drop!" The guard did his job, which includes sitting next to a sign that warns you horses bite and kick! Theyre not a dog!

I go to see some rescue horses near me, and they give me little "love nips" as I always take apples/fruit/carrots for them, and believe me, even a little nip hurts, as horses have amazingly strong jaws/teeth. There are signs beside these horse guards warning people, yet still they insist on messing with the harness/bridles/reigns for their photo's. These aren't horses put out for show, they, like their riders, are trained for war, are on duty when in the guard boxes, and being around people may be part of their duty, but idiots who get too close or start fooling around will set off their bite reaction. Seeing the new barriers around the gates in some recent videos has made me a much happier man, as if they remain in place, there will be fewer incidents of tourists being bitten or able to touch the reigns just to get a reaction from the guards for their video posts/likes. I went to London many years ago, and saw the Horse Guards on duty, and have loved them ever since, so seeing the utter lack of respect tourists have today, with the new internet video generation trying to get a reaction from the horses/guards does tend to make my blood boil at times. These are highly trained troops/horses on actual Royal duty, protecting the King/Palace, yet ignorant tourists will always spoil the day for everyone with their constant attempts to disrespect the guards/horses so they can get more likes online for their videos.

I love it when the horse is in a bit of a messing around mood and when the tourists start standing either to close the horse does not like it or when the signs are clearly visible saying don't touch the horses reins !! and they look like wtf ?!? 😳 😀 when they are shouted at ,people who are going to be visiting them, show them some bloody respect ,they are not and never will be their for the amusement of the tourists or their ceremonial duty to be taken as anything other than ,a professional and a serving member of the British armed forces and its about showing them the respect 🙏 🫡 xx ❤ big love for the Household Cavalry Regt , both the Lifeguards and the Blues and Royal's ,my daughter's dad is a retired Household Cavalry Lifeguard xx

Quite funny to watch these people with the sign clearly stating BEWARE & asking politely not to touch! ...then to look all shocked when the curious/bored horse decides to have a bit of fun with all of the overwhelming non-stop attention. Like many have said before, there should be a a fence around to stop people getting too near.
