I even enjoy single player and story games at 30fps. sure 60fps is smooth and good but it's not like 30fps is unplayable as spoiled pc brats claim. I bet most of them don't own top tier gpus but yet, they keep dreaming of playing at u4k/120fps ultra. I own pc but tbh, all pc gamers(most of em) care about is playing games at ultra(take minecraft for example) but when it comes to real gaming experience , they lack lots of things. even ps5 graphics is 4k/ultra+high +medium according to digital foundry. imho, games were made to play and enjoy stories so even 30fps can give you a satisfying experience. i'm not into online gaming tho. And yes, PC gamers aren't really gamers who actually want high graphical games, most of em only want more fps instead which makes no sense. every game has story mode and 30-60fps are fine and ultra only eats vram otherwise there's no significant difference between high and ultra in games

@@InsidePlay2023 I got a 4090 it's amazing but! Without consoles there's no competition and I wouldn't have gotten horizon and forbidden West on PS5. I play on both I know I'm hated on both sides lol. PC has carnal instinct and soon the Genesis order. Adult RPG games I mean that to those won't be on consoles for a good reason. When I play a game like ghost of tshima on PS5 I'm not counting fps but loving a great next Gen game. I'm a fan of better looking games gen to gen Sony haven't disappointed me in that department. PC used to be the same meat more graphical the game the better. The xbots got PC gamers thinking frames.are.better over gameplay and graphics. The bulk of the games.on of that ive noticed are indie games and not even good looking indie games for some reason PC players seem to hate great amazing games it boggles my mind.

I'm a bit skeptical about GTA 6. In some ways, like physics, GTA 4 was actually superior to 5. I'm worried Rockstar will just use GTA 6 as a vehicle for GTA Online 2.0 in order to sell kids more Shark cards.

@@DJ-1Q84I respect your view but i don't agree that GTA 4 physics was superior to GTA 5 though. But with that said, the NPC's in GTA 4 absolutly kills the NPC's in Cyberpunk 2077 which is a total failure from Betheda

​​​@@kyrkbymannenit's not an opinion. It's a fact that gta 4 had better physics than 5. And judging from the trailer of the new gta 6. I don't think any game will ever come close to looking as good as RD2 atleast for another 5 years or so, not even Rockstar's own new next gens

Graphics can for sure make a "meh" game playable for people who tend to be hardware nerds, or love throwing stress at their systems. A discord group of music festival friends that I hang out with though... they all have high-end PCs and then play shit like golf-it or any other non-taxing game. Feels like a waste to me.

PC exclusives are usually strategy/rts mostly due to controller vs mouse&keyboard balance. Other than that, yeah, same games but with the possibility of better graphics and fps. In business terms it doesn't make sense to make PC exclusives, computers don't belong to any one company like M$oft or Sony, and unless you don't have money to make console ports, you don't have any reasons to not do it.

Not sure if you played through it, but coming from a guy like myself that will be quick to say something does not look that great, trust me, I finished it, it's impressive bruh.

@@jimmyharrison5411 I would get AW2 if its a straightforward game for casual gamers you can finish without looking up a guide, like sm2. But I heard you can't get through some puzzles without looking things up, thats a dealbreaker for me, it breaks the immersion

@@SuryaGupta-te7fq Hmm...I'm almost at the end of the game and there were no puzzles stopping me from getting through the game. There were a few hidden chests that I could not solve until I explored more around it, but even those are all optional.

If you haven't played it, compression of these videos absolutely ruin the graphics, because it's so much about the details. There's so many details that make it look so god damn good that compression ruins, especially because there's so much going on on the screen so often. That's also true with the new Avatar game when it comes to graphics, it looks beautiful, but videos of it look kind of bad.

@@84bombsjetpack23 doubt it, until cyberpunk 2077 came, ff15 was the bar for graphics. Ff16 on ps5 can already go toe to to with a lot of pc games running at max settings

High unlikely consdering it's used really dated looking rasterized lighting, and its quality is wildly inconsistent. The stop and talk scenes are really static, look oddly lit and look decidely last gen (like FFXIV). Cyberpunk 2077 and Alan Wake 2 are in a completely different league.

99.999999% of gamers don't update like what you stated. It makes zero sense but your point was console vs pc and yes a pc is a little more expensive as the sky is the limit. But the experience is by far superior than console. Midrange graphic cards are by far faster than a ps5. A ps5 is low midrange today.

@@seizonsha I used to upgrade that way, but if you're serious about gaming it makes sense to buy a new Alienware laptop every 2 or 3 years. The beauty is that if you buy a laptop that's on par with a console that came out a few years ago, you know that most of the games that came out for both platforms will run on said laptop. But not on best graphics.

Speak for yourself. In single player story based games ray tracing add a lot to atmosphere and immersion. Story based games don't need 60fps, 30fps is enjoyable enough Frame gen which both dlss3 and fsr3 support makes low frame rate with RT a thing of the past

Yeah, I still don't see enough of a leap in graphical fidelity to justify it. I mean, reflections and extra AO or light bounce will be there, but you will only look at them because you're conscious you made that trade-off. Otherwise, they're not important details, nor gameplay-useful effects.

but we miss the detailing the designers include with the game, it is beneficial for games atmosphere

Speak for yourself my friend 😅. It's 100% worth it when you have the hardware for it. Alan Wake and Cyberpunk with Pathtracing are crazy.
