Garibaldi area (nominated as best redevelopment project in the world by Mipim in Cannes few years a go) with the new park, skyscrapers, and the vertical forest really worth a visit. From there you can walk towards Corso Como famous for its restaurants bars and night life. There you can also visit the famous Corso Como 10 shop and cocktail bar. If you keep walking toward the Arch you can visit Eataly which is a kind of mall plenty of restaurants and typical regional italian products you can buy. CITY Life (MM Tre Torri) is another huge redevelopment designed by Zaha Hadi, Libeskind and Arata Isozaki architects with modern architecture, fountains, Park, a cool mall. Fondazione Prada is another beautiful modern art museum which worth a visit as well as Hangar Bicocca with its modern art installations. My husband and I have visited Milan twice a year regularly over past few years, thanks a million to you for bringing back our good memories in Milan by watching your magnificent video during this critical period of time, We sincerely appreciate it❣️❣️ Hope COVID 19 will be over soon, life goes back to normal and allow us to visit this beautiful city again. Yes, it was so beautiful! Really breath taking. Maybe you could take the chance to visit it yourself. I'm from Munich and I visited the famous Residenz castle here and it was also completely empty.

Love Milan! the Convent of Santa Maria della Grazie houses "The Last Supper" by Leonardo da Vinci in its refectory. It is a sight to behold!-just amazing! Should buy the tickets in advance as only a limited number can view it everyday.

Very nice look at Milan. For those who want to taste earlier periods in Milan, I suggest first the Bagatti Valsecchi historic house museum (a late 19th century Neo-Renaissance aristocratic mansion with its original Renaissance and Neo-Renaissance furnishings and art still in their original places) and the Villa Necchi, an early modern historic house museum of the new industrialist class, with some original furnishings and some period art not original to the house). For those interested in museums: don’t miss the archaeological museum showing ancient Celtic and Roman Milan, the “ancient art” museum in the Castello Sforzesco with art representing principally medieval and Renaissance Milan, the museum of the Duomo itself covering many periods, the Poldi Pezzoli with world class collections, the museum of the Risorgimento for Milan’s wars of independence, the natural history museum, the science and technology museum (which also contains art and is located in a Renaissance ex-monastery

Thank you so much! I'm sure you'll have a great time there. Unfortunately the case numbers seem to have gone up again the last few days in Italy. So I would highly recommend following all the safety guide lines put into place.

@@maxnomadtravel yes. I feel safer in Milan than the Netherlands to be honest. Almost every person is wearing a mask in public, or at least have a mask to put on in the crowded areas. Right now I'm waiting for my saffron risotto... Then it's time for some museums for the rest of the day 👍

But those very pushy resturaunt people were annoying, also in some places you have the scammers that want to give you stuff for free but then want money, those were just annoying, but overall, felt very safe, there was always people on the streets so felt very safe

Hi Max! Really lovely video, I got to watch it because I first watched the one you posted about Prague (it's been really helpful for my journey there, thanks a lot), and I was curious to see what you had to say about my city, I'm from Milan, actually. Everything was very fine and nice, and I'd add a few more suggestions to anyone who has time ;) - Terrazza Aperol: a magnificent terrace with a view similar to the one you can appreciate from Museo del Novecento, but from the other side of Piazza Duomo, where you can enjoy the best Aperol Spritz of Milan - Some more as beautiful as important churches, like Sant'Ambrogio and Sant'Eustorgio - The new spectacular neighborhoods of Tre Torri and Gae Aulenti - Other popular and elegant Aperitivi locations like Moscova and Garibaldi - The two most various shopping high streets of the city: Corso Vittorio Emanuele II and Corso Buenos Aires (this last one has generally lower costs) - Talking about food, I would recommend the best pizza al trancio at Spontini, the unmissable Panzerotti da Luini, and (in my opinion the best) gelato (ice cream) at Cioccolati Italiani Thank you again ✨

In parco Sempione u missed The Triennale Design Museum & the Torre Branca (from the famous drink Fernet Branca) .. And u Skipped Leonardo Da Vinci's monuments like the statue of himself in front of Livelloa Scala or the Cavallo near S. Siro Stadium. And u didnt see Brera District or Gae Aulenti square

I really enjoyed the tour music, both the "Bouncy" and the " Bass Thumping" , as I was so anticipating the mandolin maneuvers". but then, it appears not to many of the residents (visitors) appear to be very romantic during these times of the Coverts. Can you find a good "music tech" over there to accompany you with some other "genres?" perhaps ? We're going to watch Rick Steve's Tour of the Mediterranean , now and have some home-made spaghetti. Thanks Max. Ana Marie Ceuca sings Lynda Faye's "One Enchanted Evening, I Found an Old Friend" in Italian now.
