You guys need better sports researchers. Aside from mispronouncing names; you included 2 White Sox brawls but not their craziest one (Tigers), no mention of the batter who karate-kicked the opposing catcher, or the Juan Marichal incident, etc. And that's just baseball!

Realistically, most of these could have been filled with hockey games gone wrong. One particular Philadelphia - Ottawa game in 2004 comes to mind where it took officials an hour and a half to rack up all of the penalty minutes after the two teams exploded on each other, breaking the NHL record with 419 penalty minutes alloted to both teams, or the 1987 World Junior Ice Hockey Championship in Czechoslovakia where Canada and Russia went at it, fought for almost 20 minutes, until officials shut the lights off in the arena so players couldn't see each other in the dark, in order to end the meelee. Both teams were ejected from the tournament (although Russia was already eliminated, but potentislly cost Canada the Gold). Now THAT was a fight. Hunt for them on KZfaq.

Yup, in Finland we still remember that one too well, because we won the gold medal, partly because of that game. That would not have potentially been the case if Canada had won with at least 5 goals and the fight would not have happened. Far-fetched, sure, but not impossible if we talk about Canada.

One English soccer brawl happened between two friends in 1975 in a match between Derby County against Leeds United. Red Wings vs Avs should be massively higher considering (all the details this video left out) in which Drapper was knocked out and taken out of the game which was a playoff game that led the Avalanche to go to the Stanley Cup and win it, the full clearing brawls were then at their 1st game the following season so there was months of time between the two incidents and everyone knew it was going to be a blood bath because of what had happened. Secret Base did a full video on it that gives it a ton more detail, which I know you can't cover it all here but at least could have been covered a bit more accurately.

So, I guess that the takeaway here is that baseball is a very violent sport for being largely non-contact. There was an infamous story from the 40's or 50's of a game in Montreal involving the Canadiens and their fans. It started with a fight on the ice, which is pretty much par for the course in hockey. The fight on the ice triggered a fight amongst the fans in the stands, and that fight spilled over into the streets of Montreal, triggering a full-scale riot that required some time to finally resolve.

Oilers vs Flames on February 1, 2020. With just under a half minute to go in the second period, Sam Gagner digs under Cam Talbot's equipment for the puck as the whistle blows, resulting in a line brawl. While the mayhem in the Calgary zone was going on, Oilers netminder Mike Smith took the opportunity to skate to center ice and wait for Talbot to join him. Flames forward Matthew Tkachuk and Oilers defenseman Ethan Bear began firing away near the point in the Calgary zone, just as Bear's defensive partner Darnell Nurse pointed toward center ice, baiting Talbot into a goalie fight. Talbot came into the game in relief of David Rittich, who allowed 5 goals prior to the incident. With 24.5 seconds on the clock when it was all said and done the officials decided to have the intermission then and there to allow the players to cool off before resuming the game. Talbot was previously a member of the Oilers in their 2017 playoff run while Smith was a member of the Flames in their 2019 playoff run. Milan Lucic and James Neal also swapped jerseys in a trade between the two clubs in 2018-19. It wasn't a bench clearing brawl and didn't involve participation from coaches or fans, but it was still entertaining as it followed up an earlier game in Edmonton, where Dave Rittich flipped his stick following a save that gave Calgary the shootout win. Oilers were mad after that, and chased the Flames out of the Saddledome with an 8-3 win.

Three remarkable soccer-related brawls from Mexico: 1983 - Club America vs. CD Guadalajara at the Mexican league semifinal game. It had to be broken by the police. 1997 - CD Toros Neza vs. the Jamaican National Team. It wasn't even an official match, and it became a slum brawl. 2004 - Club America vs. CF São Caetano at the Copa Libertadores quarter finals. Some fans entered the field, even with all the countermeasures set up to prevent this to happen.

There are so many all out brawls in soccer, mostly in South America and Turkey, that would put all of these, maybe minus the hockey ones, to shame... Also there are more NHL brawls that would top most of this list than one can count.

It crazy to think what Garrett did would be obviously aggravated assault off the field.

This sounds bad, but Rudolph was the punk who started that. It was a clean tackle and he starts ripping his helmet off. Garrett clubs him and he throws his hands up like he's innocent Glad he got clocked

I knew there would be a Red Sox-Yankees brawl in here, but I thought it would have been the one in 2004. Red Sox starter Bronson Arroyo hit Alex Rodriguez with a pitch, and A Roid went to charge the mound, only catcher Jason Varitek got him first and hit A Roid in the mouth which kicked off the brawl. to this day, Varitek and Rodriguez still don't like each other.

I was expecting the brawl between the Nordiques and the Canadiens to be on this list! The fights lasted for a whole intermission and during the 3rd period.

Alright. So I watched and the #20 entry you should have played the Tom Hamilton audio to that. That's what made the fight so much better than what it really was.

The Stewart Lebron incident was one of the craziest brawls in sport lol. Where was the brawl? There wasn’t even a single punch thrown lol. It’s funny how he charged across the court and then just stopped once he got close lol
