Los brasileños siempre le pegaron como los dioses, no en vano hay 7 en esta lista, y faltan otros como Nelinho, Roberto Carlos, etc. El de Cubillas contra Escocia, 3 dedos por afuera justo al ángulo es una obra de arte; debería estar en el top 3. Me acuerdo de verlo en directo.... Enorme jugador Teófilo.

There is atleast two more free kicks from USA 94 which deserves to be in top 5 here - Branco's goal VS Holland and Stoichkov's goal against defending champions Germany!

100% correct, on both accounts. Multiple free kicks on this list are vastly inferior to branco’s and stoichkov’s. One was from 35 meters and the other froze a World Cup winning goalkeeper in place.

Now look at that by Cubillas! I mean we are used to everyone doing some sort of "Beckham", but Cubillas that was special.. From the left side, with the right and slightly outside of the foot into the net. Original.

The "foul" before this free kick wasn't existing, Rinaldino was laughing and crying, so Branco's goal was rotten.

I'm gonna make this point,whenever I feel necessary,for a accurate prospective! ..Rivelinos,Garincha,Dirceu,Zico,Ghengini the French player the Peruvian star Cubilas ( and some others) 'Freekicks' were achieved with the Hard Leather Ball( which was being used up until the early 1990's) After the late 90's, u started to see that light plastic Ball being used far more frequently! ..So anyone who has played and used both, knows full well that the lighter Ball flys all over the place &allows all kinds of Players to strike it from long distances,curl and bend it in all directions,when the 'old Leather ball' only allowed those with a special skill set to achieve these feats!!..Think about it!

Also David Platt‘s goal for England vs Belgium from 1990 should be there. It was so exquisitly executed that one journalist wrote that the Belgian defense hadn‘t even made a mistake. But I guess this video only festures direct free kick goals.

The list should have included the following free kicks: Eder (Brasil), vs Argentina, 1982 Branco (Brasil), vs The Netherlands, 1994 (a must, candidate for the best free kick in World Cup history) Kupcewicz (Poland), vs France, 1982 Stojkovic (Croatia), vs Spain, 1990 (discutable)

Stojkovic didn't play for Croatia. He played for Yugoslavia (Croatia was a part of Yugoslavia, but Stojkovic is from Serbia which also was a part of Yugoslavia). Nevertheless, that was one great free kick by Stojkovic.

Eder's free-kick against Argentina was jaw-dropping but it hit the bar and Zico scored on the rebound. Should've deserved an honorable mention though

And the author of the goal was nevertheless considered Zico, who actually finished the ball after it came back from behind the goal line? By the way, several goals from the list in the video should not be allowed either. In my opinion, only direct free kicks should count, but here several balls have been played and touched by another player before.

There is one missing: one by Carlos against France in 1997. It was a LONG range free kick and he kicked the ball with an outside foot curving it in. Fabien Bartez didn't know what just happened.

Ronaldinho was a tremendous player and I always liked him a lot, but in that free kick he clearly wanted to make a taut cross into the box to find some deflection by a teammate, but he hit the ball wrongly, which ended up in the goal. You can really tell by the posture of his body and head. I remember that 2002 World Cup was played with the new (outrageous!) Fevernova Adidas ball that was very light and caused a lot of controversy because it took absurd trajectories...

El mejor fue el de Honda, de Japón😍, debería ser el nro 1, el de Ronaldinho no es tan especial ya que Seaman la cagó y se adelantó mucho, facilitandole el gol a Ronaldinho, fue más error de Seaman que merito de Ronaldinho. El de Honda fue sin duda el más bonito de todos y el mejor😍
