Karens are like paper tigers acting tough but when the consequences of their actions come to bite them, they easily fold and try to weasel their way out of it.

Looking at the other comments, I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who thought that the "Karen" reacting to the teens throwing rocks at her family was, more or less, justified in her actions (though the violence is regrettable).

Someone harassing you when you want to enter your own home is unimaginable to me. That's just vicious.

I had a Karen explode because i going the "wrong way" down a grocery store aisle. I laughed at her walked off and it pissed her off even more. She told me she was going to get me fired and was going to have me arrested none of which happened because 1. I work for myself and 2. The police hung up on her.

I had a Ken that used to come into the convivence store I worked at. If he did not see the coffee physically drip into the pot then the coffee was too old. I finally told him after he made a couple of my coworkers cry, that I would only be making fresh coffee at certain times; other than that he was not allowed in the store. He spoke to the owner and the owner agreed with me!

I was raised by a narcissistic Karen and let me tell you that it’s not easy. I’m oddly satisfied when Karens experience karma.

I think it's interesting to note that a lot of the soldiers who fought in the Continental Army during the American Revolution - you know, the folks who fought, bled, and died so that the US could exist in the first place - were actually recent immigrants from Europe, many of whom spoke little or no English.

My dad actually had a minor Ken moment a year ago, but with a GOOD ending. We always order a simple Pizza Hut pizza on Fridays online (don't know how that tradition started, but hell if I'm gonna complain), and my dad would always go to pick up the order in person (We live like 5 minutes by car from this Pizza Hut). We did this so often that the people at the store would recognize him immediately. This trust caused my dad to never look at the pizza before coming home, because he knew we could trust them. Well, that was a bit of a mistake one day, because we got a botched order. The pizza had all sorts of weird toppings we never ask for, and it was poorly made compared to normal. My dad took the box back up to the store, and oh boy the story he told was pretty funny. He enters the Pizza Hut, carrying the box. The people at the registers immediately assume the worst, because he NEVER walks back in. They knew this, and one of them went to get the manager. The manager shows up and confronts him without hesitation because she too knows the tradition of my dad showing up there. He explained what was in the box and what we actually ordered, and she went to check the order history. The weird pizza we got wasn't even someone else's order recently or after; it was a genuine mistake that made no sense. The guys on duty for that order were notified by the manager, and they all came out to apologize. The manager herself went in the kitchen and redid the order herself, and did it entirely for free. Ever since, the manager herself would handle our orders, and my dad would always check in the store even knowing that she was in charge. We never got a botched order again, and the pizzas she made were absolutely 10/10. There was a VERY clear difference in quality when she was the one making the pizzas. Sadly, she no longer works there, so no more god-tier pizzas. The regular pizzas are still good, but the quality she provided was unmatched outside of proper restaurants.

I've had 3 interactions Karens, 2 of them at the same time and, while one of those 2 resulted in being attacked and having a sore jaw for a few weeks, I don't regret any of it. If I see a Karen being abusive to anyone, I'm not gonna stay silent. Karens need to be called out or they'll never face justice

It's sad that just being a different color puts you in danger of being assaulted or killed or just given a hard time while trying to just live your life.

You know what's most shocking to me? How all of this stuff is caught on camera. Like...if I was EVER thinking about being a horrible person in public...the SECOND I saw someone lift a phone/camera up to start filming me, I would shut up immediately and walk away. How dumb are these women/men that they just continue to act like vile people when they KNOW they're being recorded? Where are their brain cells?

If smoothie Ken had simply notified the staff about the nut allergy, that whole mess could have been avoided. I've worked in smoothie places; it's no big deal to accommodate food allergies or dietary restrictions. I consider myself a conservative. My wife is Brazilian and English is her second language. When ever she talks to someone who knows Portuguese she will speak her native language. I have no issue with it and I’m trying to learn it myself. Getting triggered over a language barrier is ignorance at its worst.

As someone who works retail, I've run into so many karens and Ken's. One guy was notorious for being a Ken. If we were not fast enough, ringing up his stuff, he would yell at you in front of other customers and have no shame in it. Another time, a Ken came in, and the paint we normally have wasn't in stock, I explained to him that it was on backorder due to material shortages (he obviously didn't like that) he then yelled at me when I don't handle ordering that particular paint. Needless to say, this pregnant lady was angry, crying to the bathroom after he left. When I see him in the store now, I give him the biggest glare and walk away. You treat me like garbage, you are a waste of my time

It gets dark when you think that many Karens got away with their misdeeds because nobody could record the situation. Normally Karens cry out for help irrationally because if you think about it, that normally works for them.

My concern/frustration about these videos is that although there are some type of punishments given to them, the truth is if the punishments were sudden and more appropriate, it would make future Karens think twice before they act out. It takes too long for justice to prevail. People do it because they already know that little to nothing will be done. And, for too many Karens, justice never truly happens and victims are forced to endure such horrible treatments at their hands.

One of the worst darens I ran into was when I was at a local Walgreens. I was waiting in line and though the mask policy was in effect I could not wear one because I just had a tooth removed so I was in a lot of pain and my mouth was full of Guaze to stop the bleeding. This guy walks up behind me gets very close to my face and begins screaming about how do I not wear a mask and that I was endangering him and everyone else in the store by not wearing one. He did not even ask me why I wasn't wearing one he just came up and began his rant and then left.

As an Indian who has lived the entire life in an Arab country, I never had to face a ‘ white Karen ‘. But, the characteristic which is famously known as Karen seems to be in other nationalities as well. Working in customer service for almost a decade now, I have had Arabs (not the locals of the country) just like me and millions of others, who has come to the country for a better opportunity speak with utter disrespect when I fail to speak their language where just few months ago, a woman had told me ‘ Go back to your F****ing country if you can not speak Arabic. This is an Arab nation and you should be able to speak Arabic ‘. And this was said right after I politely told her with an apology (which we had to do for every Arab speaker who demands to speak in Arabic) and I will be more than happy to assist her in English or if she wants, she can speak in Arabic and I can understand basic Arabic, enough to help her possibly. Few years ago, I had filled a 5 liter bottle from a tap (some generous people provide taps out of their villas here in case if laborers or someone who can not afford to buy water can fill it in for free as it is filtered water) and was walking back to my place. Its just a sidewalk in straight line. A Syrian national came out of his car screaming at me in Arabic and accusing me of ‘ trying to enter his house ‘. When the witnesses who were just people passing by noticed and tried to convince the man that it wasn’t the case as ‘ he was just walking minding his own business ‘, he got heated up and ended up calling police on me. Since, I could not speak the language he convinced the police that what he described was true. I was made to wait in the police car till they sorted it out with the man and the other witnesses.
