even though 1.17 drops next weeks most mods along with the mod loaders wont be ready imediately, so I'd say it might be good to wait until a good amount of 1.17 mods start coming out, unless you just want to take a small break, which is also fine

Love your vids man! As soon as I saw a PwrDown video on my recommended I couldn't resist. I am definitely going to download some of these mods and have some fun. Keep making great videos! Also, I just have to point out, you got 5-10k subs since your last upload, so I have a feeling that silver play button will be coming in the near future!

Hello sir . I want ask that is there a mod about : I can choose a mob like creeper in the config file and after that only one creeper will spawn in my game . It's like Bad mobs mod . But a lot different . So can you check is there a mod like this .

My hope for the modding future of MC is that forge and fabric find a way to work together. I love that fabric makes it easier for mods to be updated as that probably means more will continue easier through versions of MC (as it’s sad to see projects not continue and you have to choose between new MC version or stay with a mod you love). However, what it’s done to the community is a bit sad since there’s now modders who won’t touch fabric and others who don’t touch forge. Bless those of you who mod for both. But I know it’s not likely sustainable to do so on most mods, so that’s why my hope is for somthing to solve that issue. I think many forge modders assume fabric will die out, but I do not think that’ll happen at this point, so let’s plan for a future where the player base doesn’t have to worry about picking and choosing mods. We already have to do that enough as is with what’s available for each version of MC.

@@zakshei6967 I think there are some people working on a way to make both work together but maybe not (thought I saw something about it). I just want them to work together, not saying every modder has to make both versions, but if something ran both, then if any user wanted to use a mod, they wouldn't be limited by forge or fabric, and just download whichever one they needed to run "x" mod. Making things even more accessible to players, rather than just modders. This means some people can make fabric mods if they want, or they can make forge, or they can make both. Either way, it opens more doors if forge and fabric are both loaded on your computer and run on one version. I've seen countless people ask for a forge mod on a fabric only mod page, and vic versa. I just don't want the community split anymore than it is (due to MC versions). But, I get that it may be impossible for both to run at the same time, I'm pretty sure Fabric's team has expressed they would work with Forge, but Forge doesn't want to work with them so that's likely where it will end sadly. Anyways, I said it was all my hope.

Personally, at this point, I think it's probably more likely Forge will end up being the one dying off - And almost entirely because of the people that develop and run it. Forge has had SO many long-term issues that they just... refuse to fix. Like, I'm aware of several issues with Forge that have been around literally since 1.7 - Are brought up at least once/year by someone, and still haven't been fixed. With most dedicated devs doing both, and with 1.14 and then 1.18 pretty much killing off all "low effort" forward-porting of older mods, 1.18 is now at a point where there's very much more fabric-exclusive mods than there are forge-exclusive ones as far as "big names" go, and those "big names" are pretty much what causes modpack devs to choose a version. I think that these days, as long as the Forge dev team puts in as little effort as they have in the past, Fabric is just going to end up more and more popular over time, until it eventually just becomes the "main" mod launcher/api.

I've just gotta say: Architect's Palette has to be one of the single best "building" oriented mods I've used that's not part of the "main" ones. (chisel, the crayfish suite, etc. etc.) The iron ore bricks and a few other related blocks are amazing for medieval/"smithy"/etc. types of builds, as well as just general "fancification" of builds you'd normally use generic stone bricks for, like roads, squares, fountains, etc. I legitimately don't know if I'll ever be able to play without it again, after being introduced to it in a modpack.

For those who may renember me as the guy that plays at 10-15 FPS thank you for the attention and everything! i find like 10 mods that help with the performance and now im at minimun of 20-30 to at best more than 50 FPS with 8 render distance making a house on an island on a frozen lake on a completed warren snow wasteland (pretty much because it also boost my fps)
