I'm so happy Slappy made it onto the list he's my favorite! Goosebumps got me into horror as a kid and I still love it now as an adult. I actually met Slappy's VA at a con (my mom works cons and was supervising autographs when she introduced me to him) So when I say hello he turned to me and said Hello (my name) in Slappy's voice and I broke, he and my mom bust out laughing at my reaction

“The Dolls” is still my favorite 80s horror film!! It’s so cheesy. Not scary, just fun!! What makes creepy doll movies creepy is not a doll that looks evil from the start, but rather, a sweet faced toy that becomes terrifying because of or when the evil within comes to the surface, to me at least.

Of course, we all know who’s gonna be number 1, and he’ll be your friend to the end.

Pinocchio's Revenge: Yeah he was creepy, but they kept us guessing whether the puppet was alive or not, and that the daughter was just crazy. When the mom supposedly defeated Pinocchio she ended up finding her daughter in its place. Dolls: Yeah the dolls were scary and murderous, but only to those they deemed a threat. The two British punk girls planned to rob the old couple. And it was clear Judy's dad and step-mom were not nice in the slightest. I was actually rooting for the Mr. Punch puppet when he fought her father. They left Ralph alone because he had the heart of a child. Dolly Dearest: She was indeed scary looking when her face started looking less plastic and more expressive The Boy: I was creeped out by how lifelike that doll of Brahms was. But I was relieved to know it was just a doll, and the real Brahms was living in the walls of the mansion and was moving it around to make us think it was alive. The sequel retconned everything by making it so the doll itself really was demonic. Which I do not consider canon. Goosebumps: Slappy no matter from the TV show or the movie was indeed a humorous and dangerous dummy Child's Play: Both Chucky and Tiffany were scary in their own ways. At least Tiffany was willing to change at the end of Seed, but still held onto her homicidal tendencies while in Jennifer Tilly's body. As confirmed in the two sequels following Seed.

I finally watched Tourist Trap last night and let me tell you, I can handle any type of horror movies for the most part but when you bring in mannequins that move on their own, it's all over for me.

The dolls from Tales From the Hood always gets me. That whole movie still gets me to this day, because all of the stories are still happening to this day. SMH.

I still love watching ”Dead Silence” that movie is creepy as hell lol. And I grew up on Puppet Master. My favorite is the pale hooked handed one. Wearing the black hat. I wonder if Dolly Dearest will be on this list. That doll scared the $%#@ Out of me as a child lol. When she sat on that damn rocking chair 🪑 looking evil as hell! That face is something I can't forget. And that was years ago when I first watched it.

I'd say Chucky is more iconic, and hilarious opposed to actually scary in any way. Billy and Brahms the doll deserve a much higher spot for the sheer amount of terror both movies had and how critically underrated they are.

Nah!, I feel that the ventriloquist doll from the Twilight Zone should’ve been number one. The way it took over the man’s face at the end then the man smiled while looking right into the camera. That still gives me chills till this day. 😅

I never knew that Pinocchio was what that movie was called! I remember seeing it on tv as a kid and could never get it out of my nightmares. I would dream about being in that house with that thing chasing me in several of my dreams. I thought Chucky was the main doll that started my fear of them. I guess Pinocchio was all along. Wow. Pretty cool that i finally found this movie again after years of it scaring me in my nightmares lol

My sister had an expressionless doll and she gave it to me because she did not want it. After a day or two of owning it, I hear my name calling in a clear soft scratchy tone while I was sleeping. It was so clear that I am not imagining it. Then I immediately gave the doll back, and the voice stopped. True story. 😬
