Good video, Just subscribed !! Is there an available OBD-2 connector for the A810? Also, I'm curious about the safety of using an OBD connector, as it diagnoses the system.

Not yet. But OBD2 for the A810 will fome sooner or later. Maybe in a month or two I hope. Also, nothing to worry about safety of the OBD2 connection. Its perfectly safe.

I appreciate your assistance; I have connected the OBD2 Connector, and it's functioning as anticipated. However, I have a further inquiry: How can I enable a time-lapse video for an entire journey, such as a 7-10-hour drive? Currently, I'm only getting 1-2 minute video clips.

Timelapse can be enabled only during parking monitoring. For regular driving, you can copy the normal video files and create a timelapse via a video editing software.

It's a great video, comparing the video quality side by side rather than making video explaining the features which are available everywhere. Keep it up. Can you help me choose a good dashcam. My budget is 11k, I was planning to go for 70mai A500S, but after I saw Redtiger F7N 4K under 13k, I feel like going for F7N by investing 2k more as it's a 4K. Can you suggest which one would be better among these two? If there's any other better option under 13K, please suggest me. My main priorities are: 1. Build quality & after sales service 2. Video quality 3. Accessibility Other must have features are: 1. Parking Monitoring 2. GPS And, without a inbuilt display is ok, and ADAS in dashcam is a useless feature for me. Thank you.

Yes, it makes sense to go with 4K than 2.5K resolution. Redtiger F7N does make a value for money proposition. But I haven't tried any Redtiger Dashcameras yet. Hence cannot really give an honest opinion regarding build quality, after sales support etc. I do have tried 70mai A500S, and found it to be excellent. But again, I always recommend to go for the highest resolution possible within your budget, so if you can afford the F7N, then go for it. It has the older gen Starvis sensor which is good in daytime, but not upto mark in low light conditions where the latest Starvis2 excels.

Nope. Closest is VIOFO Mini 2 A119 for about ₹16K. But its 2.5K and single channel only.

can we reapply the same Electrostatic Sticker after removing it. my dash cam position is a bit wrong, i want to change the position. no additional Electrostatic Stickers are provided. only 3m tapes. can i reuse the same Electrostatic Sticker, or it will be wasted if i take it out

If you take it out gently and restick it immediately, you can reuse it. I have done that and it works, but if you take more time or get your fingers stuck in the sticker, it wont work. So you have to be careful while doing it.

The cable is about 3.5meters. So using a measurement tape, measure the length from the rear dashcam position to the power socket along the beading of the ar where you will run the wire. That will clarify your doubt.

Since its 4K, it worth it. But it has older generation Sony Starvis sensor. So low light performance wont be excellent. Daytime quality will definitely be good.

Z50 offers good quality during daytime. But in low light/night conditions, A810 will stand out due to its latest Starvis2 sensor.

That depends on your financial condition and your requirements. For example, you can purchase a ₹10K smartphone or a ₹1Lakh+ smartphone. Both do the same job of dialing and receiving calls, but the extra features and improved quality provided by the costlier smartphone wont be present in the cheaper one, so you have to decide what you need from the smartphone you will buy. In the same way, you can buy a dashcam less than ₹5K, or buy ₹50K dashcam, if your budget permits along with deciding on what quality of video you expect from the dashcam you want to own.

Yes. Its always better to go with the highest resolution like 4K. Its definitely worth it. Go with 70mai A810 4K dashcam. Hardwiring doesn't void the warranty of the car. But, some car manufacturers do not recommend it. Hence its advised to remove hardwiring before giving your car for service. Once you get your car back, you can install hardwiring again and it wont be out of warranty.
